It seems to me that thorzain got an extremely lucky playoff bracket where everyone that was really good at giving him a run for his money(genius, ret) were already knocked out. Thus, he took down two pretty good foreigners by playing solid and scouting, a korean zerg that kinda brought about his own demise but still outplayed him in the first game by a large margin. The final match vs polt seems like he got the better end of the build order battle thrice in a row using solid scouting and control, yet didnt really show extreme superiority, just solidness. TL;DR Thorzain won because he got a lucky bracket and just played solidly which got him ahead in the build order wars | ||
