If europe do some practice and come up with some good map specific strats they could win. Remember july might have 1-2 games practice on the maps, but more likely will just pass them onto bejjang for him to see how they play, then ask for advice. The other pros i dont know, depending on what other competitions they have.
New maps, koreans will do far worse then normal, because they haven't done or seen everyone do different things on it. Still they have the higher skill so they are still fractionally ahead.
If i hadn't got those pros i probably would have fought for other match ups, but i'm happy for euro to get their best 5 match ups.
Now all i have to do is sit back and relax and wait for some great games. Unless of couse one of them doesn't show, then i may have to strangle someone.

hmm, interesting. As for someone wanting Beast vs Xellos, before WCG last year Beast said he would beat Xellos. Xellos dismantled him. TvP is Xellos's weakest matchup, but thats not saying Fisheye has the level of PvT to beat him.

Pj maybe isnt at good level because of lack of practice thesedays. Its spring festival in china.
he hasnt touch keyboard for a MONTH or more except for a small tourney of 3 days.

i know. Pj seems kind of rusty in his game vs hbq on yaoyuan where he got owned 2-0.
but beast isnt hbq

do not underestimate beast! if pj isn't in shape i think he has the best chances to win, together with break and mondi.

if mondragon wins it will bring me into 'respect' mode for him , not to say right now there is no meat, just that this will further confirm it.
but however i do hope it will turn out to be a spectacular game ending with Zeus laying down with authority, as frankly, Zeus is not Reach or Nal_rA, but he is just a sex machine by himself. Even regarded by most to be top 5 protoss in the world, he still at times does not get recognition

It's true I don't get the hate. The simple fact that he placed the highest out of all foreigners at WCG means everyone should be quiet because he deserves his spot.

Leg, what's the point in you being tam captain if you don't get to play? Is it just a nice term for 'substitute'? Did you organise the team Asia player? or did Blizzard sort it out?

I got the players of course. Being also the reason i was the captain, (apart from being a kangaroo loving, crocodile wrestling aussie) i have contacts.

not bad matchups
beast vs pj I think beast might has some chance against pj as pj isn't so hot right now (compared to himself)
breakdown vs sen I cant comment I dont know shit about zvz
zelo vs july I think this is the most obvious. that zelo doesnt really have any chance
fisheye vs xellos well if fisheye can suprise xellos with unorthodox strats he has chance but I dont see him winning in a bythebook series xellos is too machine for that
mondragon vs zeus I think it depends on the maps if they favour zerg then mondi will win imho (dunno if thats the case I havent seen the maps)

Beast can be an ass sometimes, and you all may not like him for whatever reason, but he is MORE than capable of beating Pj TvP.
Mondragon should comfortably win vs Zeus.
Zelo and July will be interesting if Zelo practices the maps a lot
Fish and XellOs, perhaps a repeat of Legion and XellOs?
Breakdown "should" win vs Sen based on the replays I have seen of his ZvZ.
I dunno just my opinions gonne be good games period, and not a blowout. I predict 3-2 could go that score either way really.
