Apologies, vengeful spirit vote was sent to me at 2159. The lynch is still Onegu with 3 votes. The second votecount is correct.

Onegu was in the shower singing to himself. He was ready for another lecture and another hike in the mountains roughly a few km from the castle. As he stepped out, he felt a very strong gust of wind between his legs in spite of his bathroom door being completely shut.
Feeling something was amiss, he checked the bathroom vents and found nothing unusual. Just as he'd checked the vents again, another gust of air swept between his legs.
Immediately, he rushed outside the bathroom in a panic, not sure whether his mind or his body was betraying him.
All of a sudden, his towel was yanked off him, spinning around, he was faced with the horror of evil-looking necromancers.
He screamed.
The necromancers danced around him and obstructed his path. One of the necromancers shoved him down completely naked, but he got up and managed to run. Unfortunately as he neared the window, his window slammed shut and pretty soon he had no way of escaping.
He grabbed his pocket knife from the nightstand and lunged at one of them, only to dodge right through it. A second necromancer picked him right up and threw him on his bed, and before he knew it, he was restrained by unknown and unseen forces.
Finally another necromancer pounced right on top of him.
"Well I know what we're having for breakfast today. Who wants to join?"
Onegu, a tourist (Town Vanilla), has been lynched.

I poured a glass of pinot noir as I sat down with disformation for a late night dinner.
"So how was work tonight? Tour group incidents got you down? You look tired," I quipped.
"This last tour group...." his voice trailed off, "has been quite exhausting."
"I imagine the tragedies of the last several days have really gotten to you."
I allowed my close friend to eat in peace, looking at how worn his face was, I figured some alone time would allow him to recover. I retreated up to the study and began to type some emails. Seemingly out of nowhere, disformation's hand gently touched my shoulder.
"Ah yes?" I answered, slightly startled, "what's wrong Fabian?"
"Dani," he started, with a piercing look in his eyes, "I have a bit of a confession to make."
I held his trembling hand, attempting to calm him down. But instead, disformation pulled me very close to him.
"My goodness," I responded, "what is wrong. You have to tell me."
"It hurts so much," he responded. His grip grew firm enough and I started to shake his hand in a panic."
"WHAT ON EARTH IS WRONG?" I exclaimed.
He pushed me gently against the wall and got even closer, almost as if he was trying to seduce me. I looked down at his hand. It was then did I realise what was happening.

"OH MY GOD!" I screamed, realising all too late I would become my friend's next victim. "Please! Stop...."
"I'm so sorry Daniele," he responded, "it kills me to hurt you, it kills me to see you suffer. I've had feelings for you for awhile I'll admit. Rest assured, I will make sure you fall asleep....forever."
I felt the necromancer slowly overtake me as he pinned my body to the wall with seemingly no effort. I gagged on whatever weird substance he was forcing down my throat. Betraying me with a kiss to my forehead, the necromancer put his left hand to my throat, and the study faded to black....
A few hours later, I woke up in a bog. My body had completely changed, and I was dressed in a black dress, feeling somewhat gaunt but lighter than usual. I trudged down river to see rsoultin, marvellosity, and Sn0_Man playing cards, and boxerfred taking a nap nearby. GlowingBear was also around, taking a nap nearby. There was a black smoke emitting from my hands as I approached the group.
"What is this place?" I asked them.
"Welcome to hell," marvellosity responded. "This is your home now. We are free of the necromancers that robbed us of our lives...but we are condemned to hell forever."

We'd like to thank disformation for helping us massively with content/flavour (particularly some of the more gruesome scenes were his idea, and not HTS's) as well as cleaning up HTS' German (lol). Much appreciated mate.

The special mechanic is as follows - and is stated as such in the mafia QT:
When a player dies, he becomes a ghost and will still have an influence on the game. There are two types of ghosts:
Benevolent ghosts are town-aligned, cannot post in the thread or in the voting thread or via PM / out-of-game message to anyone, can talk to each other in a separate QT, will have 1 collective vote for the lynch, and can decide on one person / night to protect (protection will be publicy announced in the thread; there is no protection if there is 4 or less people alive at night).
Vengeful spirits are mafia-aligned, cannot post in the thread or in the voting thread or via PM / out-of-game message to anyone, can talk in the scum QT and will have 1 collective vote for the lynch.
If a townie is lynched and more than half of the people voting him are town, he becomes a vengeful spirit.
If a townie is lynched and half or more of the people voting him are mafia, he becomes a benevolent ghost.
If a townie is killed at night by the mafia, he becomes a benevolent ghost.
A mafia being lynched or killed always becomes a vengeful spirit.
Whatever he becomes, a dead player will have the opportunity to write a message to the town, that will be posted by the host at the start of the next phase.
Example 1: if Half the Sky is lynched Day 1, she will be able to write a message that will be diffused by the host in the Day 2 post.
Example 2: If Half the Sky is killed Night 1, the message will be diffused in the Night 2 post.
The message cannot exceed 50 words and cannot contain the names of other players.
The host will precise the name of the author of the message, but not his new role and alignement.
If no message is submited, the following message will be posted: "..."
The hosting team reserves the right to not diffuse a message.
The town will not know this hidden mechanic
The mafia will know this hidden mechanic in details.
Modkilled players are deleted from the game and don't become ghosts.

The spirits made a few mistakes (and I don't just mean the GB misfire) and I know the mafia vengefuls missed some opportunity to take advantage but Chrome did play his heart out. I will defer to Rels on the mechanics explanations though, as I feel he could handle that better.

Onegu's reads late game are generally spot on, he does well in lylo but has had trouble getting people to listen to him historically. IDK.

Quite ironic, I thought about it more, it's a way of punishing the town for messing up a lynch in a sense (hence the term vengeful spirit) but I can't think of any other way to "motivate" them working for the opposite alignment. I mean the only other alternative would be to remove vengefuls altogether (send them straight to obs QT) and have the mafia control two votes?
I'm really not sure.
