Amazingly well-written article -- sprinkled with a variety of apt references, sly pictures, thought proviking, at times funny, and at times moving. And not just a sugar-coated turd, but full of more insight into progaming and human dynamics than any other piece I can think of.
I've always had this inchoate impression of OGN as a goofy team that loves to have fun in the spotlight, but I'm going to laugh at that power rangers picture every time now after a Sparkyz ceremony. The Bulls sans-Jordan reference was great too; SKT1's season without a doubt showed off how powerful team culture is.
In contrast to SKT1 after Boxer's departure, KTF seemed to have a bit of a resurgence when Garimto came back. Watching him cheer after a KTF proleague win - the charisma and excitement were palpable. The Return of the King along with the injection of fresh new players definitely shocked some life into the team last season; but it seems to have fizzled a little over halfway into the season. I think Garimto's poor play limited his role modelling abilities somewhat, and the cultural gap between the old and new players must be too strong for the players to really unite, especially in age-centric Korea. I really hope the players show some life, starting with Proleague All-Stars and Flash in MSL, but I'm expecting a continued KTF-wide slump for at least the next few months.

I was going to write something like this for the HanBit team (I LOVED HanBit back in the day) in one of my threads, but then I got lazy and then I just forgot about it.
But I'm glad you wrote this.
I am pubbanana and I liked this article.
And specifically, I thought you captured HanBit perfectly. They had such an good dynamic in 2002-2003. When Reach, Silent_Control, H.O.T, and Sync were there, coach Lee Jae Gyun was kind of a ... strange one. He'd make the players walk home if they lost and he always made the seniors fetch him things and make his food/drinks in the morning, instead of having the dong-saengs do it. He really made that team something special and it was fucking heartbreaking to see Sync and Reach leave for KTF

it coulda been better had you done it imo, but it might have made it harder to read or something.

I don't think using TLPDize would have added anything to this article; it's just not a piece you read to crunch over their stats and vitals (and yea, you're right that it'd prolly make it harder to read).
This is a magnificent article and was an absolute joy to read. I made a "damn -_-" cj face just from reading the intro.
