Anyway, now that Madoka is forced to retire, it almost feels that Lan and Mugi became Madoka's battle harem. Hahahaha.
On a serious note, it is interesting to know that the so-called aliens are really a different branch of earthlings who departed earth 20,000 years ago. This is good, since it has been puzzling me forever as to why aliens look EXACTLY the same as humans (yes I am looking at you, Star Trek and Macross).

German in Nanoha was not bad, but those things would only utter one German word at a time... this song is pretty much ENTIRELY in German.
I guess I shouldn't blame the producers too much on this. If animes were made in the US (or better yet, in Canada), it would be sooooo easy to find native speakers of any language for short and easy voice overs.
It wouldnt be to hard for the people who actually make them either. I dont think they really care, as long as their audience knows its a different language thats pretty much that.
I'd rather they not try to put it in another language if they are just gonna butcher it. Even if it gets awkward like in Black Lagoon where everyone speaks Japanese and we just pretend that they are speaking English.

Yea by audience I mean locals who cant speak said languages. I doubt something streaming on crunchyroll or fansubbed weighs into the decision much.
