Also holy shit. Did not see that one coming. Though I was running through all of the possiblities as I looked at Luffy's reaction. There's not many possiblities considering the reaction. Edit: Oda also confirms what many thought when they saw the three sake cups at Ace's grave. Actually the most surprised over Koala's reappearance as a revolutionary. Imagine Jinbe's reaction if he ever finds out or meets her?

She said "even if you were 'there' what could you have changed?" I'm curious how Sabo is going to get the fruit since he isn't in the tournament though the tournament probably isn't going to finish the way things are turning out. Bartolomeo also hopes Luffy senpai will notice him if he gets the fire fruit, but Luffy only has eyes for Sabo.

He's going in under Luccy with Luffy disguise. that's how he plans on winning the tournament, and it makes sense he and Koala are both revolutionary considering their past. One was a slave because of immunity given by the world government and the other didn't have a very good experience with a tenryuubito... Oda is just throwing awesomeness to us!!

It was implied that Dragon & co picked up Sabo when they visited the island when Sabo "died". Now we know it really went down like that. Sabo's still a punk for not telly Luffy or Ace, though. Bet he's pissed at himself for not telling Ace before he died, too. Atleast he should be.

http://www.allmangareviews.com/one-piece-speculation-oda-hinting-towards-sabo-being-alive/ Also since Koala is a substitute Fishmen Karate teacher, the real teacher is probably Hack the fishman who lost to Bartolomeo in the tournament. Hack was seen talking to someone on a den den mushi in the toy pit and it was probably Koala or another revolutionary not the Marines. Oh and you guys are probably right about Sabo fighting as Lucy. Was confused at the last page wondering why Koala was talking to Luffy, but it was Koala talking to Sabo dressed as Lucy.

Koala being involved after the fishman island flashback is also awesome because we all knew she would turn up eventually, and being a revolutionary makes perfect sense given the shit she saw with her village betraying Fishertiger. I would also think that fishman kumate master from the B group who was talking with someone on the den den mushi is also a revolutionary and Koala's master/partner since shes labeled as a substitute. I'm actually really surprised we are getting to see Sabo THIS early on to be honest...would have thought it would be further down the line after a yonko was defeated. So i would think its him who gets the fruit at this point but you never know. This also brings up an interesting point that should be interesting to see...the circumstances of Sabo's rescue and the fact that he joined the Revolutionaries means that Dragon would be more of a father to Sabo over his life than hes ever been to Luffy during his. I am also LOVING how this arc is mirroring Alabasta a lot. They are fighting a mastermind whos usurping the established government to gain power. Befriending a determined Princess. Luffy meeting a brother after years and years of not seeing them. and THIS time we got 2 confirmed Yonkos that are directly and indirectly involved as well as a damn admiral. <3 ODA

Luffy/Zoro/Kinemon running to save Law Thousand Sunny and crew vs Big Mom Usopp/Robin/Franky taking down the factories Sabo/Bart in the Arena CP0's involvement And who knows how the Marines + Admiral will fit into all of this As mentioned here, it is like Alabasta arc on crack. At first, I was critical to how similar the story was, but now I can really appreciate the parallel. It's the Alabasta of the New World. I can't wait for fight match ups. I don't think we've seen really good fights since the CP9 arc. I also hope they flashback the reunion at some point. I'm a sucker for those moments.
