MVP on a good day are one of the best teams no doubt. The problem is that they're a bit crazy, especially QO who might win the game or feed like a mad man. Makes for entertaining doto at least.

They usually bring their A game in the majors/TI , so they are a top team for me still.

I'm sure he was just covering for Aui by saying that, Fear is 100% better carry.

I see Aui have great moments like his Juggernaut vs LGD, but man there's something off about this man. I notice he makes major blunders like going back in team fights with 100 hp and get nuked down.

He gets stuck on auto-pilot too much. He repeats actions he's done before, especially in Pubs. Also has problems adjusting his play to the game-state.

It's a common issue for those with higher score on the Autism Spectrum, which is a bit more common among a lot of eSports players.

You really think Aui is autistic?

No, especially since the DSM screwed up the categorization. But, now they count a lot of stuff on the "Spectrum", and some of those traits he does show. It's a co-factor, normally, with high Visual-Spatial ability. EE shows most of the same traits, though the social awkwardness tends to be the most common.

So, he's smart, but some of that smartness came with some drawbacks that, in the heat of battle, show up due to the instant reactions needed. (Though it's probably better to say it effected the instincts he built for the game, and then the instincts take over. They're currently the wrong way to play in most Team Fights, which is the biggest problem EG is having.)

They usually bring their A game to lans in general. They really have only had one bad showing on lan that I can think of ever. Pretty much every other lan they have outperformed expectations. MVP are a completely different team on lan vs online.

Isn't the sea server ping for Korea pretty bad? I know China is the better ping server for me.

While I do think Aui's hero pool is going to be another hindrance for ppd's drafting, I do think Game 3 of EG vs LGD marked a potentially interesting shift in where the Meta is going. Granted, I'm not quite sure if they're the ones that'll pull off what that means, but we'll see going forward. It might not take effect for a while, still. So the Summer tournament circuit could be really interesting.

As for the rest of the EG vs MVP series, it was pretty well prepared draft by MVP. Any strong mid-game team fight line-up with hard ganking really does nasty things to the way EG wants to play. So the lifestealer just did work against them. Though it would have really helped if Aui's farm hadn't fallen way off.

MVP's style takes supremely tight execution. Any drop-off and they'll fall apart and feed 15 kills to the other team. That's why they got dropped from Starladder Invitational without much fuss. They'd taken a little break after winning DotaPit and they just sort of fell off.

Isn't the sea server ping for Korea pretty bad? I know China is the better ping server for me.

I don't know from personal experience but that is what I have heard. I also think the way MVP plays makes high ping affect them MUCH more than a lot of other teams. They really push the limit in fights and are so aggressive. The higher ping will make those teamfights harder where as a team that just plays the macro game more and doesn't rely on just out fighting the opponent can handle the higher ping a little easier.

Also what on earth is taking so long. Was hoping to be able to watch game 2 before going to work in 25 minutes but they have been between games for like at least 20 minutes now.

I'm happy MVP won as I do enjoy them play but I feel that they are not playing to their previous level. I'm happy they won the first game vs EG but it wasn't as clean as I would expect it to be against a weak team like EG and they almost lost to Mineski

Yeah I'm feeling not so optimistic about their performance this time around. Losing to LGD, fine, but 2-1 against Mineski in what many consider the easiest group isn't the best. They look like a team that has EG's number lately though, so I'd think at least a second placement here.

MVP haven't been working as hard as they have before Dotapit, but to be fair the team pool at Dotapit and Weplay is much weaker than this MAjor
