Anyway, does Chaoslauncher work with this version? Does ADVLoader? I'm guessing yes to the former and no to the latter.
ADV gave me application version when I tried last night. : (

Well, considering that you need to copy a ~550MB file to the SC directory for this to work you're not exactly gaining that much 
A nice little update, even if not absolutely necessary due to the existing ways to launch the game without a CD. At least this is officially supported now. Should make small lan games with one CD a bit easier to set up as well. Haven't tried it myself but I recall reading that you had to swap the CD from one machine to another before starting if you weren't using any other tools or an ISO.

you're probably using advloader
start up advloader plugin manager
put the main plugin from passive to disabled
retry patching
fixed it for me

Finally I can log on to all the servers have not tried iccup yet, since the launcher wouldn't let me on any of the gateways.

i have somewhat messy starcraft folder, its installed right im pretty sure. Also, what do you mean use regedit to fix it? plz elaborate on the solutions a bit plz

My ICCup launcher just auto updated. Iccup is working fine now with 1.15.2. Yay!!

Download&Start Chaoslauncher
Goto Settings-tab
Input your SC-Path into the Installpath field
press OK
works the same with BWL4 except you have to use the registry-tab there
about ICCup: The new update(Build 38) should fix your problems

No maphacks are pubished yet, but one of the hackers claims to already have finished the update. So the hackfree break will be very short
