I know it's usually easier to tech to carriers but I think the reason why a lot of protoss progamers choose arbiters instead is because they are so hard pressured in midgame against the terran pushing to the nat and have no option to stall for carriers. Temp tech comes more natural and makes it easier to fend off than having (almost) 2 carriers at the critical moment. | ||
