Predictions on round of 16:

Free vs Jaedong: I'm going to say Jaedong, but considering his 0-3 loss, failure to qualify for an osl, I really don't know. I think Jaedong isn't going to be in the best mental state so he may have more trouble than expected, he may even lose- or he may rape free like a bitch. It could go either way.

July vs Luxury: I'm going to say Luxury, but I think it will be close, and honestly, July has great chances. I'm not sure if this is a b03 or a b05, but either way I think that July will lose by a single game- or win by a single game. But I think Luxury will clinch it.

Backho vs Stork: Backho is going to sweep stork, he has strong pvp and Stork...simply, doesn't. As of now at least.

Jangbi vs Mind: This will be a great series, but nothing shows me Jangbi wont defeat Mind in some great games. It will probably be a close series, but I don't think theres a realistic chance of Jangbi losing.

Much vs BByong: Much wins all the games, rapes.

Best vs Dream: Best wins all the games, might lose one because everyone drops a game but should win them all, rapes.

Rumble vs Flash: Flash sweeps it. Might lose one game because hes not doing the best lately.

FORGG vs Bisu: Sadly, and I really do mean sadly, I don't see Bisu carrying a game here, or even coming close.

Does anyone know if Much got interviewed after his match? I kinda want to hear his thoughts on the scouts.

I can totally see him playing it off like "I'm just showing they're a legitimately viable unit" instead of using them to humiliate poor FBH.

I agree with all these predictions. Also even though jaedong isnt in the strongest shape, being eliminated from OSL means he will have fewer tournaments to focus on and should be able to put in more effort to practice for WCG

So what are the brackets to this thing?

Is it: the winners of games from the same day play each other in the next round?
For instance:
August 5
Game 1 - free < Jaedong
Game 2 - July > Luxury

Next round would be Jaedong vs July?

Flash vs Rumble: Flash should win, although Flash hasnt been owning it like a couple of months ago, which gives Rumble(who is a very underrated zerg) a slim chance.

Much vs Bbyong : Much? PvT? Good thing is that if he goes thru the next bracket, he might have a chace to get revenge either for OSL(BeSt) or MSL(JD).

Free vs Jaedong : Ok, JD hasn't been in his best shape lately, but cmon, it's Mr. Choke on the other corner of the ring.

Best vs M18M : Seems like the 0-3 against July took a toll on his play, but this could be a nice time for him to return to the preOSL finals BeSt.

forGG vs Bisu : forGG is on a roll, and an underachieving Bisu is not going to stop him. Bubba seems unstopable on all 3 matches. Bisu does not.

Backho vs Stork : DT rush PvP is not going to work against Stork, even if he sucks right now. Anyways, none of these two stands a chance against Fishface.

Jangbi vs Mind : The P who stole Storks crown as Samsungs Ace Toss, and a Mind who hasn't really shined in the last months. Jangbi is not going to let him turtle up, and Mind hasn't got too much options besides that.

July vs Luxury : Sounds interesting, especially with the flavor of revenge on the last OSL group phase . I don't really like zvz, but this one I will pay attention to.

Are you aware that he got that nickname after 2-0ing Stork with dark rushes in the GSL? So in fact what you're saying will not happen did happen. Perhaps you mean "surely DT rush PvP won't beat Stork again... sigh...".

Beyond that, Backho beat Stork the next game in a macro fest. It wasn't close. I don't think Backho is amazing, but hes solid in pvp. Stork has been playing less than spectacular in pvp [to say the least] ever since his osl loss to Flash. I can see him taking a game from Backho, or just in general giving a good showing of himself, but he doesn't have the momentum or the capacity to beat Backho atm.

Oh, and Rumble is def a underrated Zerg. I don't think Flash will lose [as I said above] but I wouldn't be entirely surprised if Rumble pulled a game or so against Flash, even winning. I think Rumble is improving quite a bit as of late.
