This will be the upset of the night. Bisu will be practicing for his match against Xellos and won't want to give away any potential build orders that he might use if he can avoid it. Shudder will be able to get a sneaky upset off to advance to the next round. It is not time yet for Bisu to dominate the OSL.

Light will advance regardless, in the event that Bisu does end up winning it will be more reason for light to lose this game as he will not want to face his teammate next round if possible. He is probably failr confident that Bisu will pass, regardless of whether he actually does, and will likely not feel the need to be prepared fully for this game.

DarkElf > (T)

NaDa

Nada's starleague losing streak is into the double digits. If this were the Nada of old, I would be confident in him. However this same scenario happened during Daum OSL and Darkelf won the irrelevant match then when both of these players were 0-2 then as well. That and Darkelf is much better than the size of his fanbase here at TL.net.

The map should favor protoss here, and the fact that Frozean is a relative no-name does not convince me that he will do well. That and I am hoping for Savior to advance as the number two spot from this group and this prediction facilitates that.

edit: With it being the last week I'm glad that only one of these games has no relevance as to who will be advancing.

They have met in three different tournaments so far this year in Bo3 matches. That being said, I'd still like to see them play, but I doubt they want to. I was hoping that they would have met in the MSL, but Kwanro had to go and ruin it over there.

So you aren't the only one.

thoughts:
Shudder < Bisu: This match certainly looks like the upset match of the day, but even if Bisu cannot pull any secret strategy, his focus on practice WILL be against terran since quite some time. Yet, it is only BO1, so anything can happen.

Iris < Light: I am hoping for Light to show some fighting pride and put all his efforts into winning. His momentum certainly points towards beating Iris as well. And besides, decider matches > no decider matches.

Nada < Darkelf: Darkelf has been strong, also TvT, and NaDa ... well, you know the story.

Rock < Frozean: I like the idea of Frozean advancing, just for fun

. He might be more motivated than Rock is, due to having an actual chance. But map odds point against him.

[edit: It is fun how the statistics above contradict everything I said. But that is the nature of statistics
