Nowadays tvp with that upgrade 3 base style requires good stamina and patience to continue for a long run game. At the same time protoss has a lot of options to play against it and an advantage(race match) against terran in general. If you take a look at my game against dewalt, i dont go fast 3 base style. Kind of close to midas maybe. But more modernized version. Before flash became godlike midas was the one that many ppl recognized about his skills including playstyle. I also heard a rumor that he had something similar playstyle(upgrade terran) that is modernized by flash. Old days, many terran players played for 4 5 or 6 fact timing before 3 base. And quite a bit late armory. Midas played similar to the others, but he also focused on upgrade to have a powerful mech army in late game. Then flash came like 3 tanks 4 gols fast upgrade style against protoss, and it became strong against reaver/carrier style and heavy gateway army playstyle by protoss. Not a lot of ppl played arbiters at that time. | ||
