I feel it's pretty unfair to judge people just based on iccup rankings (referring to all the japanese player trash talk), but it's probably gonna be everyone getting crushed by the koreans. With bo1 round robin though, who knows what'll happen? One game is too unforgiving. When I used to play bw I took one game from a bunch of players who were leaps and bounds better than me. One lucky situation is all it takes.

I don't know why half comments include something about how unforgiving Bo1 is. This is not single elimination, in every group everybody will play against all others in the group, and the 2 guys with the most wins and therefore the fewest losses will adwance, so it does not mather if JD or flash drop one game to some well done cheese, they will still advance and meet in the finals.

good groups for the foreigners. bratok, whitera and sen are 3 of the 5 foreigners with real chances of taking games off of the korean pros, and 2 of them are guaranteed a spot in the ro8.

but anything but a flash vs jd finals would be a huge upset. (ok, maybe the brackets turn out so that they meet in the semis...)

I believe after wins at the pax and MLG events.He has spread himself a little thin.I think he was saying something about it not being fun winning everything and wanted a chance to reflect and grow personally while also giving other players a chance to be in the limelight.

This WCG seems really bittersweet, especially after how amazing WCG 2009 was. It's always fun to watch the foreigners duke it out with each other (and the Koreans winning in the end), but this year I don't know how high the level of play of the foreigners will be.. not to mention there's almost no one there (19 players).

Hopefully it turns out a lot better than I'm expecting and the last WCG with Brood War is amazing. Go White-Ra!
