Besides, if we are talking about luck, it was Jaedong hoping to get lucky that Flash would make a mistake and not scout his hidden third at the top left. Flash deciding to scout everywhere is not luck, its him understanding his own game plan and acting on it by scouting everywhere. The first time he found Jaedong's third is not luck. It is because flash is good and knows that on that map in those positions the zerg will take that main/nat, or the expo between the two mains. He logically scouts the other main because that scouts 2 bases, if he didn't see a third there he would have attacked middle right. If he didn't find a third base there he would've started scouting many other places. Furthermore, if he didn't find a base on Jaedong's side of the map that means the base would be far closer to him so he can scout those later and take them out just as easily because of relative distance of those bases to his compared to the opposite side of the map where he scouted first and jaedong was praying that flash wouldn't get there too early. The second expo many expo places still dark is true when he gets there, but before he does he has scouted and has recent information on Middle right, top right, top right natural, middle, top middle, top left natural, and top left main. Oh look, with knowledge of 11/13 possible places for a hatchery to be, he found one. That's not luck, its paying attention and good scouting. | ||
