try to take the middle with the gosu terran.. if u build there depots and turrets wise and you have good vulture and tank control you simpley must avoid the toss to expand and expand yourself.. But thats all pretty easy to say.. and hard to play..

I couldn't disagree more, building in the middle is idiotic.. Im' a toss myself and if I saw a terran building in the middle I would circle around using the small ramp path from the closest gas expo. it's pretty tough, but if I were you try to harass alot with dropship while taking a gas expo first; I've gotten beat twice like that on nost.

FAST GAS >ALL on nostalgia
I just tried an idea saw on korean vod and i adapated it to me : i usually fast gas on nostalgia ( i mean i gas just before the baracks) then i fast expand, second factory , u have then 2 facts tanks, as soon ass u have about 5 tanks 2 more factos make rspeed mines and produce 4 facto vulture till uhave about 7/8tanks ( which is very unexpected by the toss o n this map cause of the lack of gas )7/8 vults : go + 4vcs and push (It sreally quite fast and u willpush with 7 tanks when most of toss will have only les than 8 goon and starting b3).Then u ar eable to own th emidlle , ormaybe better u are just afte rhis bridge .

Actually a 2 fact, 3 tank 4 vult siege mine 3 marine 3 scv push is pretty strong on this map, especially if Toss tries to take his expansion quickly. You can use the bridges to your advantage, as it becomes inexpedient for Toss to try to attack a tank on one bridge while being shot at by one diagonally placed on the other. If he doesn't try to take his nat, then you have to watch out for a shuttle, as this would be the most dangerous counter to a quick containment on his main.

In short, you want to prevent toss from being able to dominate the middle. Place mines at all the expansions, use bunkers on rushes, if it gets to 1 base vs 1 base go 4 factory 2 addon (Nostalgia main has 9 mineral piles, or 1500 more minerals than a main on LT. This plays a large factor in determining builds)

Unless I'm playing someone who is significantly better than I am, I rarely lose TvP on this map. If anyone wants some reps or pointers, feel free to PM me ( = I don't claim to be great, but I understand the game a lot better than I play it.
