I feel that it isn't right to put a restriction on who can join for my goal is to attain "mass-gaming". I just ask that you tell me your aka and that you are joining by sending me a PM on Tl-net.

Haha, I just got back from two weeks of soccer tournaments and I am deathly sore...anyways..
I know that I haven\'t been a great contribution to the TL-Net Community, but I\'d like to suggest an idea that I\'ve wanted to suggest since my time here.
Whenever I join \"op tl-west\", I either see one of two things:
1) A lack of people in the channel
2) A lot of people in the channel, but a lack of interest in playing a game.
Some players simply think they are too good for playing the not as skilled players and other times, they would simply play with their group of friends. I wanted to create an environment where it is easier to find games and simply improve your game by playing with other players.
What I wanted was to create a new clan dedicated to the Team Liquid starcraft players who do not have a team. But, I\'m really not too sure whether there is enough interest for this idea.

I guess I have thought it out a bit, but not to the extent that I know exactly what I want and what I plan to do. I am not sure what the criteria will be for being eligible to join or exactly how the clan is going to be run.
I put out this poll to see whether I should make my idea into reality or let it go. If you reply yes, no, or maybe, please add a quick comment to see what things I should be considering. For one, if the clan were to happen, I would need a \"bot host\" and someone who would be willing to work side by side with me in managing the team.

i think this could work...and it would be nice if it did, the lack of people wanting to game in tl-west bothers me...however, you would first off have to pick a gateway to have this clan (i wouldnt reccomend west, its quite dead), then decide on criteria for able players to join. I think that for your idea to be a reality, you would have to allow, mediocre and above players to be able to test or trial for this clan.

It's always up to the enthusiasm and commitment of the members above all (at least that's what I feel). It'd be very easy for this to turn into another idle/chat channel w/o dedication from both sides: top and bottom.
I am not exactly sure what your vision for this team would be, (how high level, how inclusive/exclusive, etc) or whether TL actually has enough players who fit the criteria, but I would think that it never hurts to give this a try, whether it gets off the ground or not.

Hi Guys,
I think it is just because it is summer time. Most people are on chill mode but once school starts we will have more activity. People are taking advantage of being outside. Also sMi. moved to another server and many people are traveling.

This sounds cool and u are rite theres ppl who says like they are so good they beat nada and all this other ppl and sometimes theres alot of ppl in that channel and usually they are all inactive so i think ill join :D
Edit: Nobody on after 12:30??? come on.... well ima go bak to that channel tomorrow i guess :D

i would join if uni wasn't gonna start in 2 weeks' time for me. 
i suggest you have a poll. some people enjoy op tl-west because of the relaxed, chilling out environment, so that's why they go there. others are clanless players hoping to find trustworthy, disciplined practice partners. if enough people like your idea, you should go ahead.

I usually bounce from active channel to active channel... I love to play a ton of games but..I find my self getting bored just mass gaming on ICCUP...Having everybody collectively together in a channel/group makes for such a cozzier atmosphere
