sorry but i really dont like it :{

what i dont like about it:
- it's way too busy.. icons are all over the place and it's hard to tell what is what
- a desktop is supposed to be easy on the eyes, but here i wouldnt know where to start looking
- lens flares really suck :p especially unedited like that + it doesnt go with the blue background
- about the blue background: you kinda blended the top of it, but the bottom is just cut off
- the bottom-right icon thing is too pixelated imo ;p

i personally wouldn't want to have a pic of some progamer on my desktop but the idea is cool i guess ;D maybe you should adapt the taskbar a bit too so that it matches your whole theme

and i agree with CyuntiyuL's idea ^^ making the minimap a projection of what's really on the map would be cool ;D

Japan, Korea and China all used the same characters for a long time - Korea "recently" switched over to hangul, doing away with Kanji. That kanji means eternity.

I was going to say what poster above said...except, China was first, and basically everything else is jacked from them. Yes, they teach chinese character in Korean school, or they did 5 years ago at the latest...And kami5909, thank you for the translation, considering it's written right next to the character. Also, Kanji is Japanese word for chinese character

Very nice, and interesting.

But a little too confusing at first site. I guess once you get use to it it wouldn't matter.

My Desktop Background is the SCLegacy Breeze pics, 3D. The one with lost temple and a protoss gateway in 3D.

this is what you need to do.

hide taskbar, that windows crap is just in the way

the minimap, instead of just having it there, to be there. Have it animate to your winamp as a spectrum thingy, it beats or moves around to the music.

the replay progress bar can be your winamp control, or whatever music player you choose to use

the wallpaper is decent, needs work. I'm sure you cah think of something better.

you can make the wallpaper and map, and just have random units on your desktop, each unit being a shortcut of itself.

if you have trouble doing this to your wallpaper, run it as an active desktop, make and HTML page with it, and run the HTML page as your wallpaper.
