Q: Why did you choose a forward rax strategy in the first match? A: During practice matches I had success with it, last time I played protoss I wanted to use this strategy, so I've been constantly preparing. I watched  Jaehoon 's VOD's and discovered that he doesn't like to scout, so if he didn't scout this time then this rush was a guaranteed win, so I used it.But this time he actually came out to scout, made me confused about what to do. If you put the rax at the natural of the opponent it's the most efficient and easiest to play from, so I chose that spot. That makes sense. I've been wondering about that match. KT fighting! | ||

Soulkey seems really confident and now really set on quickly catching up to GSL players, very nice.  Oh and Coach Ryo Won is such an asset to Woongjin, such a smart move. | ||

Q: What are the biggest threats to Woongjin's spot on the rankings? A: Jaedong is going to catch up soon, Team 8 also bought their own assistant SC2 coach, so their ability is improving. By.Flash was already gifted, so his improvement is also very fast. Good players at BW have a higher probability at being good in SC2. Talent is a problem, but how your own mentality develops is also a problem. Even if you hate this style you need to accept it. For example protoss in BW is an aggressive style, SC2 you need to switch to a defensive style, these changes (acceptances) need to happen quickly. Hmmm so according to this woongjin coach that means Bisu is probably having a wrong mind set and still thinks he is playing a bw protoss in sc2 . It's kind of hard to predict that bw players will actually have high probability at being good at scToo when the game isn't the same any more . I can see players transitioning form Dota to Dota 2 easily because game mechanics were left intact and the heroes are the same except for a graphical lift .However from sc bw to sctoo the feel isn't the same and when there are times where you feel there is a battle in yourself after all it's hard to play when you know unit x and unit y should work these way . Why isn't the unit working the same way as it did in bw ???? etc etc . Although I am sure that players would have become more familiar to the game once they switch to sc2 fully.Until than I am enjoying as much broodwar as they are available right now watching jangbi v soulkey on neo jade still makes me wonder why do we have to watch a game that isn't half as interesting as broodwar right now . Stork v Zero made me really sleepy and it also gave me a huge impression that the game is full of hard counters rather than soft counters . If you don't do x,y and z and follow the standard way of playing you will be penalized by the system in sc2 compared to broodwar if your micro was really good you can punish a player who is basically good at playing the macro game and yet equalized the disadvantage you had for opening with a very old but old school build in these new age. | ||
