Patch Downgrade and Chaos

I'm trying to play on ICCUP but I don't know how. I went on www.iccup.com and it said download some patch, put it in your broodwar file, and then set the cd to normal. (?) I don't know how to do it and I'm so confused.

Also for chaos, I always use it to play sc but whenever I play games with others with chaos, it doesn't work and the other person gets disconnected, which means that mine didnt work.

Edit: Also my sound on my computer doesn't work after re-booting it, do I have to have the cd or is there another way?

use 1.15.3, not 1.16

Also have to make sure your chaos is correct version. Incidentally if you're using it on bnet it means ur SC is not properly patched for iccup =P

Anyways, after you make sure ur SC is running on 1.15.3, just go to www.iccup.com and download the launcher, and everything should work fine.

As for your sound, I think you're supposed to have the CD unless you did the no-CD fix, which I don't particularly remember what it was. I think it was putting the files in the CD into your SC folder on your hard drive...not sure though

the installation is very easy. Download the program and extract it to your starcraft directory. When you load it up, click on patch 1.6 to 1.5.3, when you do so, there will be some wording to the right...cant recall what it starts off as, I think its x3 or something to that effect- regardless, hit that once and it will go to "normal". Then you simply run it and your game is patched. The directions are awkward, I agree.

I just dled patch 1.15 and when I clicked it, it said there's no need to install this because there is a more updated one

And dayzed_spy, after I dled it I opened it but it was this huge word document with like weird letters, what application should I open the program with?

thats cause you do have a more updated one (1.16) =P
that's why you must downgrade!

There was a file somewhere on forum for this.....trying to find....other option is to reinstall =O

But that file downgrade was here somewhere....there were just a few files you needed to replace.
