I can't wait until you buy that first thing you see in the store that seems SO necessary, but later sits in the closet unused. It is a right of passage for fathers-to-be Good luck. If you have any questions, just ask.

I did this. Bought a pacifier that said "Daddy #1" or something. Never used. Congrats to OP though, having kids is a lot of work but it sorta adds meaning to life. It's awesome.

As a dad of a 1 year old who now has a mine field of trucks downstairs, hope you're prepared for some fun and trying times!
And be prepared to get peed in the face if its a boy!

Thanks everyone for responses, even the Manifesto himself wrote few words here, much appreciated. I'm exited a lot, I know it's a serious business to have a baby/kid and I'm ready to face everything. And yeah it adds a lot meaning to life, just can't wait for it )))

That first week or two when you have him/her, esp if its your first is pretty magical. Cherish it

Best blessing in life.
Just remember when they're crying... they're not too happy about it either. Ha!

I will second the "any questions just ask".
And do not be afraid to ask!!
Enjoy it, it really does not last as long as it seems. Make it all count.

Sad to disappoint dude but that's not a bean.

Congrats man! I wish you and your little bean the best.

Congratz! Do ask any questions (yes, first days poo is supposed to be black ), but be aware that opinions on raising kids vary widely between regions/cultures. So cherry-pick your advise
