EPTIt's been a long time since I've been that desperate to win a battle

If you had ever looked me in the face and told me I would seriously need to use a potion to try and beat a Level 2 Patrat (Think Rattata for you old folks)...I would have laughed and dismissed you as crazy.

I would have been wrong. It was a close battle. I chose Isis for the first battle of our journey, I'd like to think this symbolizes something, but it probably doesn't. Isis knowing Poison Jab as an Egg Move was what sealed the battle in our favor. We managed to poison the Patrat, and despite the fact that he, in all his terrible power, was strong enough to kill us in three attacks we prevailed at the end of the day. As the poison slowly sapped his strength, Isis was kept in fighting shape by the wonders of modern medicine. Patrat the Terrible did not have the same advantage on his side, and the side of good triumphed.
Here's to hoping that he is only the first of many casualties along our journey toworld domination The Pokemon Championship

Still only one badge, still in Aspertia. Patrat the Terrible has been vanquished and we're making slow but steady progress through the wilderness.
