DRG more than anything right now needs some time to relax, and needs to know that he hasn't disappointed any of his fans. I can't imageine how he felt with all that pressure on him 2 times in a row, and then to feel like he let himself and all his fans, family, friends, etc down. It really was tough to watch all that happen to DRG back to back nights Also - heres my submission for the project - just got done walking 4 miles for DRG! I walk a lot anyway, but once I heard about this I was glad to get out there and do it for DRG :D DRG, I just want you to know your fans will always support you no matter what! We all have to go through the good and bad times, and how we bounce back from the bad times is what matters in the end. I got to meet you at MLG Providence DRG and its still such a great memory for me. We, all your fans, know you will be back and better than ever soon enough. Why do we fall? + Show Spoiler +It has been an extraordinary rough week for pro-StarCraft II player, DongRaeGu (Park Soo Ho). In just 48 hours, DRG had lost both chances to grace the stages of two separate Finals held in Busan, missing the opportunity to fulfill a long held dream to play in front of his hometown. These events have deeply devastated the player that is widely considered the most well-rounded pro-SC II gamer in the world. On July 20 2012 00:35 GTR wrote: I was at the GSL lobby. DRG crying is an understatement to what he was after those games. He was so fucking devastated, I haven't seen that emotion since the OSL days. What transpired this week was incredibly painful to watch for fans as well as anyone with any sense of empathy. The emotions displayed were simply overwhelming. As a fan, I was prepared to see DRG upset, but I was not ready to see him cry...not like that. It was heartbreaking... But I am NOT here to place pity on DongRaeGu, I'm here to once again rally support for this amazing player:Fight your tears and disappointment, put on your shoes and go for a run. Learning to get back up DongRaeGu, through his resilience, has inspired many of us to never give up in the face of adversity. Since late 2011, this player has represented the unbreakable spirit of a Champion by consistently pulling through in series where he was immensely behind. Soo Ho showed that with heart and determination, one can overcome many of life's biggest obstacles. So how does going outside for a walk or run help DongRaeGu or his fans? "Running long and hard is an ideal antidepressant, since it's hard to run and feel sorry for yourself at the same time. Also, there are those hours of clearheadedness that follow a long run." -Monte Davis The idea is quite simple: let DRG inspire you to exercise and be a healthier person. You, in turn, dedicate a mile to support and cheer him up.
It may seem illogical, but under the circumstances, this level of support has proven helpful for DongRaeGu in the past. The community has rallied around Soo Ho before during trying times and he responded well to such efforts[1]. Once again, it is time for the fans to step up do something for their favorite player. Let us inspire DongRaeGu to never give up, just as he had inspire us all to do the same. Fans, I challenge you to dedicate a mile for DRG, then post a picture of the shoes you wore to run that mile here in this thread. Every mile given to DRG will bring him a step closer to getting out from the emotional shit hole he's in right now. Please join me in showing DongRaeGu that one can pull through the deepest of disappointments and that being a fan means more than just cheering for a player when he is winning. So put on those shoes and run the distance through the dark as the sun rises.
The Idea: Please run (or walk) a mile and post a picture of the shoes you used to show support for DongRaeGu. You may include a nice message for him along with your post You may submit more than 1 entry. These articles will be combined together to make an Ebook for DRG's fan club.
The Deadline Please submit your post by August 5th (before WCS Korea Starts)
The Prize Best two posts will win a 10 dollars gift card to Amazon.com. If you prefer, I can also wire the 10 bucks via paypal.

First, this is a cool idea to show some fan support!
Watching my korean boycrush BE crushed two nights in a row was... sad. I've been a fan for a long time now, having watched him break down each barrier on his way to eventual Code S glory and can imagine what it would've meant to him to return to his hometown as a contender for the championship instead of a former contestant.
Reading this thread (at about a 9) I realized something. Though I am not really capable of distance running to fractures in my legs, I can do something for my zerg hero. I just need to formalize my exercise routine & dedicate it to DRG!
So after some quick internet research, I've found that the average male masturbation session burns between 100-150 calories. A male of my size (6'5", 220lbs), running at a 10/min/mile pace burns approximately 150-170 calories per mile. I'm actually quite surprised by how close these estimate figures ended up being, apparently the core muscle contractions during orgasm alone can burn up to 100 calories a go!
Therefore, a proposed masturbation regimen of at least twice daily (to be safe) should cover the exercise requirement.
If I think about DRG during, will it count for this? And what should I post a picture of?

I ran 4 miles to support DRG! I have been a fan of his long before his fame, and I've always borrowed his builds / styles and they have helped me improve so much at a game that is such a big part of my life. It meant so much to me to be there at Anaheim, screaming my lungs out cheering for him in the finals. I'll never forget how badly I lost my voice! I know that DRG will bounce back. The amount of success he is going to see in the future is going to be absurd, I just know it.. DRG FIGHTING~
Much love from Vancouver. Good luck DRG!

So I, the true #1 DRG fan, could run 50 miles, and compose 50 entries and thus compose 99% of the book?
And thus the glory goes to me?
Excellent. + Show Spoiler +

I want to do this. Even though I'm an MC fan too, I was shocked when DRG lost 3-0 and especially how hard he took it. I'll be walking/jogging/running a planned 3.2 mile, though I don't know when.

Not that Hilltop_Razorback is going to masturbate; but that running at a 10min/mile pace is so close in burned calories to masturbation.
<mind has officially been blown>

If its any consolation, a 10 minute mile isnt a very brisk pace.
