Does it feel sticky at all? I did something similar on a bass guitar a while back, spray painting the pickguard with stripes, and it has a slightly sticky feel that is a bit annoying.

I have no idea if the g9x grip is the same. As for the texture I had some notes on that in the spoiler at the end. It's not exactly tacky, but I think if you have sweaty/clammy hands it might be annoying. Like I said I'm gonna try to smooth it a bit when the clear coat completely hardens and then I can tell you for sure
I use other grip with the textured plastic when gaming anyways. This one is for casual surfing so I'm just lightly resting my hand on it
