maybe if we had the attitude of a two year old, but we don't. instead we can be optimistic and improve like humans have done for thousands and thousands of years.

― Albert Einstein Everybody has stuff that they're good at, its just finding what that is. Unfortunately, we may not be as naturally inclined toward things that we want to be good at. But if we want to be good at it, then we're willing to put more effort into getting better to compensate for the lack of natural inclination.

It's a sad realisation to come to if you're a competitive type, but unless you're gonna give it absolutely everything, it's not worth caring about. If you wanna keep achieving, get to masters then quit. That's what I did, and I play my placements every season just to keep those filthy diamonds out

rather than see the huge void you need to fill, instead look at what you've done so far it's a road that never ends, and you've been running for so long it's okay to sit down and take a break if you're tired, but just remember it's not the destination, it's the journey If you really don't enjoy the journey, then stop playing. But the destination of being "awesome masters guy" shouldn't define whether or not you enjoy it.

Personally, I've always found that if I'm in the top 30%, I will consider myself good. I'm not all that competitive and I don't play even close to enough to be expecting a top position, so why would I care? There's just no reason to buy into the "everyone is trash" if you're affected negatively by it. The whole idea of everyone considering themselves trash is that it's good for training, if you think you're awesome, you'll just rage and be despressed. Consider yourself trash, and you might be motivated to improve.
