[BW Blog] Trash Talk and Fun

I joined a ladder game and selected my race as Terran while the host remained as Random.
I asked him what race he is going to play, but he seemed to be afk, so I went over to the kitchen, got myself a glass of water and came back, only to find out that the game has already begun!


This was a problem, because as Terran player, I have different opening builds for each of the 3 races.
So I pressed "enter" and typed "What race were you again?" and right as I was about to press "enter" again to send the message, this shit happens.

...

Now I don't bm my opponents UNLESS they bm me first. And there are times when even the littlest things can touch my nerves, and unfortunately for him, this was one of those times.

So I began to write a letter to him in my mind.
Dear Opponent,
I really wanted this game to be a well-mannered epic macro showcase of true skills.
But I'm afraid that you have me no choice brother.
you gave me no choice....


And with that, I decided that time is ripe to showoff my signature build, the Proxy 2 Rax! The BSB.

You see, this was perfect, because BSB works against all 3 races, and since I don't know his race, why not?
I must tell you that I have long restrained myself from cheesing in attempt to better myself as a macro player but this guy... man, he was just asking for it.

As my 1st barrack finished, the clown kept spicing it up.

Boy, am I in a mood to cheese the shit out of him.
Luckily, I was able to spot him in 1st try, finding out the he is Protoss, and he is opening 1 gate core.


Not after long, his scouting probe enter into my base as well. But does he notice that I'm cheesing? or does he think I'm going 13 cc?


He checks out my natural once again

but upon finding neither CC nor Rax, he comes into my base and steals gas!

hahaha nooooooooob!!

Stealing gas against either 13 cc or proxy rax is a major facepalm, but oh Well, thats 1 zealot/2 probes I won't have to deal with!

Once I have some size to my army, I move out to show my card.


I build a bunker near his mineral line, but I start it too soon, leaving the scv to die before my marines can get there.


But he probably skipped zealot and went straight into goon, so my initial group of marines will still be huge threat.


A huge battle ensues between forces of evil and forces of good






My 5 marines all die, but takes out all but 2 probes, which will decimate his economy. Besides, my raxes are still pumping and rallied to his base.
And add to that, it is time to pull out the scv card. kekeke..


A zealot pops out...a super late zealot which means he was originally opting for goon but canceled it and built a zealot instead. what a noobie...


1 zealot is strong...but it can only do so much....

This time I wait for my scvs to arrive and I push together


His forces come out to meet my army but I focus fire down the zealot, without which he is dead meat.



His army is mopped out, my bunker is finished, and I bask in victory.


He even built a FORGE
