"All this has happened before, and all this will happen again."

In the Bacchus 2010 Jin Air OSL, the early rounds are infested by zergs. In both the Ro36 Ro24 and Ro16, zergs dominate in numbers, yet soon most are tossed aside like chaff, leaving only the strong.

As the tournament reaches the semifinals, all that remains is 1 Terran, 1 Protoss, and 2 Zergs. LeeSsang have already fallen, but there are still 3 contenders to eliminate before a champion can be crowned.

(T)Fantasy advances to the semifinals "dominating" his zerg teammate (Z)Hyuk 2-0 in a sloppy pair of games, to face another zerg in the form of (Z)Calm (Z)Hydra, whose play fluctuates between brilliance and mediocrity. With Fantasy and Calm Hydra both playing their worst matchups, "interesting" games are bound to occur.

On the other side of the bracket, Samsung's Protoss ace (P)Stork (P)JangBi destroys the run-of-the-mill terran (T)HiyA (T)Flash 2-1 and advances to face a zerg most wouldn't have expected to find at this stage of the starleague, (Z)Modesty (Z)Soo. Can the last remaining protoss hero overcome his own worst matchup in order to prevail and advance to the finals?

With only 4 gladiators remaining in the ring, each looking for a path to victory, the stage is set for a monstrous clash ahead. Will history repeat itself? Will fate lay out a road for Fantasy to repeat his starleague gold?

+ Show Spoiler +
If the fates do indeed align and Fantasy > Hydra, Jangbi > Soo...the finals will be fucking amazing! I'm sure Jangbi will bring something fresh to the table against Fantasy, and will learn from Stork's mistake. It definitely won't be easy for Fantasy to come out victorious to complete the parallel with the previous OSL and take home his second OSL gold.

On the other hand, we could also get a teamkill in the finals...that'd really be something as well. Soo will be playing his first Bo5 ever when he faces Jangbi. Let's see what he brings to the table! And for goodness' sake, block the entrance to your main to keep your opponent guessing what build you're doing.

Haha, fun blog! I was pulling hard for either Flash or Killer to win, so I'm kind of bummed that they're both out.
Hoping for another Hydra win at this point, I guess. Jangbi winning could also be cool, though I'd rather have had Stork win last year!

I thought this was about the commentator Dejavu.

Anyway, of all the players left, I hope Jangbi will bring the a gold.

You're going to get so much hate for this.

I have a feeling it's going to be a team kill finals. SoO's ZvP has been looking great lately and Jangbi's PvZ is still shaky. Maybe if he has some strategic play planned out against SoO he might take this but otherwise SoO will win easily.

....you just called Flash a run-of-the-mill terran

Now, I'm a big Jaedong/Effort/Stork fanboy, I actually quite dislike Flash.
