NASL Grand Finals intro took me by surprise with their opening, closest thing I've seen to a BW Korean style intro. IPL 1 was the first intro I saw that actually did portraits on the players. Not the same style but cool nonetheless. Just need a way to license these alt rock songs and we're golden. | ||

It might be because there is no SC2 legend yet (if there will be one) or any meaningful history. That video in the OP is full of dynamic scenes and legends. You can feel the tension of the upcoming event, you can feel the hype, the expectative to watch such heros battling it out in the big stage, epic games, only one survivor. | ||

but SC2 won't have the same amount of hype as these intros yet because there aren't any "legends" or "really really strong players" yet. give it a few more years (1 to 3) when dominating players are established and then it'll happen. | ||
