The First Musings Online

This update is a bit late i have been away from my PC for around two weeks but here it is.

Having spent a week messing with the game doing a bit of this and that I ventured into the ladder.

I actually used to laugh when I watched Streams by Mr Cynical Brit about how it could be so hard to remember to do this. Things the 'pro' players make to look like basic basic stuff actually requires some practice to get down.

I have watched countless videos of builds orders over this last week but I have been sticking to a basic build marines idea that I found which is helping me get used to using my keyboard and building those ever important SCV's. I may lose quite regular with this but it has won me a couple of games.

I did start off making a build 3rax (yes I am getting used to the lingo also) marine marauder stimpack type of build but I found myself going out at around the time suggested 7/8 mins and if my attack did not kill the player out right then that was that as I had no real idea what to do after that point in terms of making more units.

So Marines it is for now – Yet here are some replays of my first ventures into the big bad world

Ripped Apart – Welcome to Bronze Newb – Bit of a pointless game but my first one so felt I had to include it.



How did I lose this one - Money Troubles – This is a game I should of won I think but I just did not manage to build enough of the right stuff. Kept my opponent in his base but did not really build anything and when he came out he steamrollered me.



Awww Banelings are Cute – My first introduction to Zerg did not go very well as I came face to face with my first baneling bust.



Have I won this yet ?? - Ahh there you are! - My second game against Zerg came straight after the baneling bust which I was scared off hence the bunker. It went quite well and I thought I had it won earlier than I did but I got there in the end for my first legitimate win – I had won previously to people crashing out



I called it a night after this one it had been an interesting first day and an enjoyable one at that.
