This isn't probably something too interesting for most of you since it's about the competitive scene of counter-strike.
Yesterday at 14:45 Fnatic reported that they were going to Threat from their counter-strike lineup. You can read about it at Fnatics homepage here:

I personally think that Fnatics counter-strike team will join forces with the man who was born with an AWP, Delpan. Since MYM resolved/disbanded their counter-strike team there are several great players for Fnatic to choice from.

fnatic doesnt need another awper, dsn is doing his job well. Maybe zet?

A CS blog, I'm shocked!
Delpan would be a great move for fnatic. He has the skill to compete with Markeloff, and fnatic need every edge they can get against Na'vi. Dsn is an excellent rifler, so he could easily switch his focus and allow Delpan to become the main AWPer.

zet is the coolest guy ever. you gotta watch some of his iviews (especially the ones with carmac)
delpan seems kind of obvious given the only a+ calibre players on fnatic, still the question remains what they'd want with two awpers (dsn + delpan)

I guess Delpan is the best choice, although my CS knowledge is very limited. I can't comment I have no idea what goes on with the CS people :p

I know this isn't directly related but I was really in CS a couple years ago, can anyone give me a quick rundown of how the competitive side has shaped up? I don't recognize any of those names..seems like lots of new talent? Sounds great! I'd give you a starting point but I don't even really remember....I moved to source for a bit so that makes it even fuzzier. I think if I had to give one zet had just left coL and had gone back to europe to play 1.6? I mean I played a bit after that but if anyone's willing.... Thanks!

From the article it seems like the release of threat wasn't particularly on good terms.

It was a nice way of saying he was a newb and wasn't up to par O_O!

It can easily be one of this players to replace threat.
Marcus 'Delpan' Larsson
Andreas 'moddii' Fridh
Faruk 'pita' Pita
Marcus 'zet' Sundström
Best choice at this moment for fnatic to pick up is either moddi or Delpan both showed good stats in Summer Dream Hack. Bad Choice is zet(Don't try to argue this one I have stats to prove it)as his been slumping for a while now. As for pita no idea; they don't need another rifler as they already have monster fraggers(Get_right and f0rest) to handle that.
but I could be wrong and they could pick up player from h2k-gaming lineup. We shall see tomorrow or today  who will they pick up.

Haha I don't really care who joins or leaves as long as cArn, dsn and f0rest stay in. The day one of them quits the team is the day that fnatic dies IMO.
