Since the game is not as much of a science as broodwar was (it hasn't been "solved" and patches are occurring frequently) on a given day it is likely any player in the top 5% of skill level could beat any other player. I'm hoping that some of these upcoming weekly cash tourneys on the US server (which so far the US server has lacked) will give all players a chance to have themselves shown. | ||

My opinion means absolutely nothing on skill in the beta given I've never touched it, but would any high level player possibly agree that among the top 5%, there's another subdivision of players who have better habits than the rest? Particularly with regards to scouting.and a few other smaller things. I don't know if it's translated into more tournament success and even with all the VODs I watch, it's probably <1% of the games they've played. I'm not sure how to describe it. Maybe it's just a matter of refinement. Some of the best players seem to do more things correctly, or at least more efficiently, than the other players. Anyone agree, or should I just follow IdrA's suggestion? | ||

How about we grow up, and maybe you can ask for their to be 8 teams next time instead of 4 (as opposed to being biased for your team). That probably won't happen in Smuft's Tournament's case for betting purposes, but letting TL know you think you're better doesn't really help. | ||
