This is the Minor League game which determines the players for the Major League.

This is Peter who just received a loss.

And this is Soo, will he be the other Protoss along with Ra and Kim Wan Joong in the Major League?

Soo. One Two Three! Soo Fighting!

Peter fighting~!

Soo is white and starts at 1 o'clock.

Peter is green.

Peter is at 8 o'clock and Soo is at 1 o'clock.

After the first game, Peter typed "How could I lose that game?"

with crying emoticons.

He just needed to defend once but he lost his units too easily.

His Reaver control was good. He killed at least 10 Probes.

Yes, he had a chance.

But, he couldn't defend Soo's "Han Bang Rush".

He had units and he could have defended. Seems he is tightening himself up by typing that.

You rarely see that kind of Reaver which has so-called 'Good Scarabs' inside.

Those Scarabs make you happy even if you are down. -Hahaha.

Those Scarabs flew a long distance and killed Probes, but he lost the first game.

Soo sent his Probe first and passed the center area.

It seems like they will expand then start to fight.

They are not trying Proxy Gate play or any other risky builds.

Soo is scouting those corner areas too, because Peter is really a unique player.

You don't know what he's going to do. -Ahhhh!

This is Manner Pylon play. -Soo builds a Pylon in Peter's mineral fields.

There goes another! -Unlike the first game, the traveling distance is long.

Soo's trying to inflict economic damage so he can capture his expansion earlier.

Peter prepared for the Manner Pylon in the first game.

If he didn't have money to build another Pylon, he should've stopped the Probe right there.

Soo has made two Manner Pylons.

Peter's Probe has arrived at Soo's base, and Soo is making a Cybernetics Core.

Since the rushing distance is long enough, Peter doesn't have to worry about early Zealot harassment.

While Peter's Zealot is distracted by the Manner Pylon, Soo can try... -Uhhh? Another one??

He can use Hold Position, since the Zealot is out.

That must really annoy him.

Looks like Soo thinks he shook Peter enough.

He saw Peter wasn't controlling his units well when he rushed Peter.

Soo's concentrating on distracting him.

But Peter is not trying anything on Soo so far.

Foreign players can concentrate on one thing really well,

But their level of controlling multiple situations is lower than Korean pros.

With regards to micro control, Koreans are better.

Unit control, harassment, economy management, etc.

You need fast hands.

Right now a Zealot and Dragoon are moving together on Peter's base. The Zealot will go in the front and the Dragoon will wander around.

Like this.

He doesn't need to use the Zealot, just the Dragoon will be fine.

Soo's Probe was destroyed and his Cybernetic Core is upgrading Dragoon Range.

2 Gates. -They have to go with 2 Gates.

Even though they are far away from each other, the natural expansion area is pretty big,

so they will make Dragoons and carefully expand.

It's Protoss vs. Protoss. They need enough units from those Gateways.

The important thing is whether you go Robotics first or expand first.

It depends on the playing style of a gamer, but usually it's good to expand first and settle the economy.

I think Soo studied Peter and concluded, "He doesn't use Dark Templar."

In the first game and this one too, he's not preparing for Dark Templar at all.

Soo is expanding first. -If Peter isn't going to use Dark Templar, Soo will have the advantage.

Like you said, Peter is not planning a Dark Templar rush.

And depending on how many units he has, he will match up his unit production.

Soo's units are marching down to stop Peter's troops.

Soo's units came down to hunt Peter's units,

but Peter retreated them.

Since Peter made his Robotics first, he has a tech advantage.

So it's up to his decisions now.

Soo must be thinking about Peter's Reaver. -Right.

Even though he won the first game, he suffered big damage from the Reaver.

It seems like he's going for mass production instead of Reaver play.

He may be thinking about Soo's "Han Bang rush" from the first game.

Well then... fighting with mass units is another option for him.

Since long-term play is possible on this map, he can even go for High Templar.

Peter's Observer is scouting Soo's base. Soo's adding another Gateway.

Since Soo expanded first, he will have enough units to defend and then take over additional expansions eariler than Peter.

If Soo goes for that and Peter does not use the Templar tree, Zealot Speed upgrade or Reaver tree,

he had better catch up with regards to expansions. -Soo has 1 more Gateway.

Not only that, but since he made his Gateway at the natural expansion, units will be reinforced more quickly.

He will use them in a more aggressive way. -He can't exclude Reavers. -Right.

A Shuttle is out and... Soo's Observer is coming down to scout.

If you only concentrate on Reaver play, you may lose the center area.

That is one advantage that Peter has. Reaver play.

That's Peter's strong point, so he will use it.

If Peter successfully exploits his Reaver play, Soo won't produce mass units.

Soo's Observer came inside and saw the Robotics Support Bay.

Thus, those Dragoons are going back to the main base.

He's gotta prepare for the Reaver drop.

If you are sure that he's going to drop a Reaver.

you prepare for the drop and take an additional expansion earlier than him. That's a good tactic, too.

You also have to keep a close eye on the Shuttle when it comes in.

First, you attack the Shuttle with a Dragoon, and check whether the Reaver or a Zealot drops.

And try to cause him the most damage by controlling your units. You've gotta have fast hands.

Soo's Observer is watching over Peter's tech tree.

I think Peter is making him prepare for a Reaver, then he'll drop Dark Templar.

But, Soo sees everything with his Observer.

Then, Soo just needs to defend it first.

Since Peter was making Reaver and Dark Templar, Soo has more units.

He can push with those units and take more expansions.

The Reaver is in the Shuttle and Soo's preparing to expand again.

Since Peter doesn't have mass units and is only defending,

Soo can take another expansion with more units defending his bases.

The Shuttle speed upgrade is complete.

He can also try a High Templar drop.

You need lots of control for a Reaver drop, making Scarabs and such, but a High Templar drop is easy.

Cast Storm and escape. That's it.

He's well-prepared for Reaver drop.

Oh? He's using two Shuttles.

He is intently focusing on a harassment-based strategy,

but it's hard to succeed when he's prepared for it.

If Cannons and Dragoons attack together, they can take them down one by one.

And also... -Ah! He saw it!

Since Soo predicted the Shuttle's movement, he sent a Probe there,

There goes the drop!! One, Two~!

One Zealot dead! -That Reaver must aim at the Probes!!

Those Probes are perfectly stacked together!!

Soo has to buy time with those units until more troops arrive.

Aaaaa. The Shuttle retreated.

He annihilated the Probes! -Wow...

He could drop one Reaver behind the mineral field and another at the Probes' escape route.

It seems like he tried to hold Dark Templar on the entrance and kill Probes.

Peter's units are moving up: Zealots, Dragoons and High Templar.

Formation is really important.

Soo's also produced many units so far.

When you just measure numbers, Soo has more,

and Soo also has an advantage in controlling them,

but Peter can drop units on the base like this.

Soo has to take care of controlling all these units.

The Reaver must be reinforced now. Peter has to stop those units and wait for the Reavers.

Soo's units have the Level 1 Attack upgrade. Peter's units are going for it.

Oh, the Reaver shouldn't be inside the Storm!!

All the Reavers are dead. -Yes.

Now Soo is marching down!

A big loss for Peter. If Soo pushes now, I don't think Peter can defend his mineral expansion.

If he only had High Templar... I don't see them.

Zealot's speed upgrade is done and lots of units are reinforcing from his base.

Soo has that attack upgrade but Peter has no upgrades.

The area is too big to cover with so few Photon Cannons.

The Dark Templar is trying to assassinate High Templar. But I don't think he can buy much time with this.

He already has an Observer. -He's gotta surround that High Templar with Dragoons.

Observers coming in and... the Dark Templar is dead.

Peter needs to create a formation. Set Dragoons in front and Zealots and High Templar must rush in from the sides.

And they have engaged! Storms are everywhere!!

Good Storm control by Peter!

Peter won the battle!

He had many High Templar and used Storm on those Dragoons perfectly.

But Soo still reinforces his units. -It can't end with only one battle.

Soo's Zealots were already damaged from the previous battle.

Peter is taking 5 o'clock and Soo's is taking the 9 o'clock expansion.

If they both took equal damage from the battle, whoever has more expansions gets the advantage.

Soo's taking 9 o'clock instead of 11. That means Soo is confident.

That Shuttle is flying over 11 o'clock and drops.. oh, Zealots and a Dragoon, a Reaver's not inside.

It doesn't look like a good combination to me.

High Templar might be better... Aaaaaa... Must drop that Zealot.

This is not PvT, and when both already have a good amount of units, that combination isn't really useful.

But Peter needs to keep harassing Soo. If he leaves Soo alone... Arbiter?

Peter is making Arbiter from Stargate. -What innovation!

Peter is using a variety of units, but the question is, can he use them efficiently?

Like the old Korean saying goes, "When you dig a well, dig only one."

Peter is digging about three wells now.

Soo is running two Forges and is trying to finish him with ground troops.

You must check the opponent's units then make their counter units. When Soo has this many Zealots, Peter needs to make Archons.

Two Reavers are enough for here. The other units must create a formation now.

Soo will concentrate all his units and force them all in at once.

Peter must retreat. He'd better wait until Reavers join them.

Reavers came. Zealot Zealot Zealot!!

Wow-- Soo's units are retreating!

Many Zealots are... -Ouch, Soo's Dark Templars!

Soo is expanding again to 11 o'clock.

I guess Soo had mined enough from 9 o'clock.

Peter split his units to catch escaping Probes.

I wonder how Peter is going to use his Arbiter.

Oh, he's making more. -I think he has enough Gas. He has the 5 o'clock expansion, so...

If you can't use it properly, it's just good to make Archons instead of Arbiters.

It seems like he will use Statis Field on Soo's units.

The Arbiter has reinforced his army, thus his units have become cloaked.

It's a good strategy to use a few Corsairs and kill Observers if you use Arbiters.

I see a Dark Archon. -He will use either Feedback or Maelstrom.

He used Feedback on the Arbiter.

Peter's Arbiter is marching with other units.

They are engaged. Soo has Observers. -If you can't destroy the Observers, the Arbiter is useless.

Did he kill Soo's Observers? It looks like.. oh Soo still has an Observer back there.

He should use Storm to kill Observers.

Well... -Peter's second wave should be here now.

Oh he's been losing some units to that Dark Templar!

The Reaver's gone. -That was a good battle for Peter but the second wave should have arrived sooner.

If they had arrived earlier, he could have cleared the mineral expansion.

Peter's second wave is going up. -That Arbiter is a rare unit so it has certain strategic value.

If he uses it more carefully, it will become much more valuable.

I wonder why Peter retreated his troops when he could've attacked this base.

What an odd combination. An Arbiter and Dark Templar.

We call this the Double Cloaking System. -Hahaha, but it's just the same as Single Cloaking.

Soo's attacking from the back. -Peter has a good position.

Soo is retreating and Peter is about to attack 11 O'clock.

Peter attacks 11 o'clock. -Soo must win this battle without losing too many units, even though he lost the base.

I see two Observers, two Observers. -First, Soo must clear these units,

then rush Peter's mineral expansion and destroy it.

Can he protect the Nexus? -Peter must kill that Observer, why doesn't he do it?

Maybe Peter has no Observer?

Oh, he barely saves it! -I don't think the Arbiter can finish it.

That Arbiter even attacked Soo's Observer but it didn't hurt much.

Soo's trying to establish another base at 3 o'clock and Peter is just fighting hard.

Since Peter used an Arbiter, there have been changes with the combat.

It seems like Soo's been focused on defending expansions instead of going aggressive.

Right now, Soo still has more units than Peter and

his upgrades are better too. He has to rush now and attack one of Peter's expansions.

Arbiter Recall!! -Wow, this is huge!! -It's too long to come back to here!!

Peter can just Recall these units back after they clear this base.

Peter's trying to block the entrance. Nice move by Peter!!

And Peter cloaked them with Arbiters, so Soo can't see well up there.

Haha, Soo brings many Observers. -Peter already destroyed the important buildings.

If Peter can keep producing units so he can defend Soo's counterattack...

Oh, Recall! -Wow!!

Recall to the 11 o'clock expansion! -Hahaha.

Peter~!! -He just needs to destroy the Nexus and retreat back.

When Soo goes to strike, Peter can run.

Soo has Level 3 attack upgraded, Peter has Level 2 attack upgraded. -Amazing.

Arbiters need lots of Gas and are easily destroyed,

but Soo has produced quite a good number of Observers and he may be suffering from a gas shortage.

Peter needs to calm down a little bit.

Soo has quite a good number of units now.

Soo's coming down and Peter is attacking 11 o'clock. -He better hit the Nexus and retreat.

He's got to destroy the multi base.

Peter's units were killing some Probes. Now he's attacking Nexus, Nexus, Nexus.

Does Soo have any Templar here? -The Nexus was destroyed!!

One or Two Zealots finished the Nexus. -Soo steals the Arbiter!

Soo must go now and win the battle. Soo has more units than Peter now.

He must finish one mineral expansion quickly then rush into Peter's main base.

Soo's been suffering too much from Peter's play. He has no time to remake buildings and Probes.

Peter's Arbiter recall was a great success.

Oh... Peter's High Templar.

Peter is using Storms and uh? The Observers were destroyed. -All of them?

They were moving together, so... -I don't think Soo has any Observers now!!

Soo has no Observers now. No Observers left.

Peter defended his base! -Haha.

This really is an interesting match.

If he can use Stasis Field, he can use it on Soo's troops and... -Another Recall?

Right now, Recall isn't a good choice.

It's better to just defend his bases.

But he only Recalled some of them, so it's okay.

Soo has only a few... -Geee Geee!

Soo declared GG.

Peter has made the score into a 1-1 tie.
