The game has started. Map is R-Point. This is Peter from eNature Top Team. His base is at 1 o'clock.

This is Cloud from KOR. His base is at 5 o'clock.

When you look at each race's score on R-Point...

Terran vs Zerg is 4-4. It's even.

Zerg vs Protoss is 3-3. It's also even.

But, Protoss vs Terran is 4-1. Protoss is 3 games ahead.

It would seem like they looked at the stats and decided to throw in Peter.

Yesterday, Hanbit was losing 0-2, but they won the last 3 games.

eNature can do that, too. -Of course.

So, Peter's role is very important. He must win the game.

This is also Peter's first game of the season,

so his ability is still a mystery. Meanwhile, Cloud is in a slump.

I watched them chatting before the game started.

It was really funny. Peter was saying this isn't a Protoss-favored map at all.

Maybe he was just saying that.

But, Cloud was saying this is a Protoss-favored map.

That was the first English chat after version 1.10 came out.

Peter is warping in an Assimilator.

I interviewed Coach Lee of KOR. He said he didn't expect a Protoss player for round 3.

They expected a Terran player from eNature, so Cloud prepared only for a TvT game.

They probably expected ArtOfTerran for Round 3,

because last week ArtOfTerran played Round 3 of eNature vs Hanbit. He did pretty well.

So they expected ArtOfTerran, but eNature sent Peter this time.

That's good news for Peter.

Cloud is in a slump right now, but

when you lose a lot you win sometimes, right? So Cloud may win this one... just a silly opinion.

Peter's scouting is very unique.

He went to the left side first then came across diagonally.

When you send a scouting probe horizontally, then afterwards you'll naturally send it vertically.

But, Peter sent it diagonally next.

Anyway, Peter found him quicker this way.

There's nothing really special going on. He's making a Factory there.

Uhhh, he could've blocked that SCV.

That SCV came in. -If he controlled his Dragoon, the SCV wouldn't be able to get in.

Cloud's SCV control wasn't that good. He should've had it survive longer and watched his tech path.

I assume Peter's going for a 2-Gate Upgraded Dragoon push, then he'll expand.

That's a little different than Peter's usual style.

Peter used to go for a fast Robotics and a Reaver drop.

It looks like Cloud is going for his expansion.

Peter is making more Dragoons and Cloud is making a Command Center.

A Dragoon came to the entrance.

Oh, another SCV came in.

The SCV found out there are 2 Gateways.

I guess Cloud wasn't pleased with his SCV control last time.

This player is really unique... Unique.

He's going to take the 12 o'clock base. -12 o'clock!

This base neither has many resources nor is it easy to defend.

Cloud assumes Peter is going to expand, but...

Oh, Peter lost 1 Dragoon.

He got 1 Marine and lost 1 Dragoon I think.

He will produce more SCVs first. He's also going for another Factory.

Cloud discovered Peter's build order with that second SCV. This style is similar to Zeus,

but I still don't see a Robotics. -You are right.

Peter used his Dragoon and found out Cloud was going to expand.

But, you still need an Observer to check the other player's builds and number of units, etc.

He's making a third Gateway instead. This is something only Peter would do.

If he makes another Nexus there, it's like he's suggesting a new Protoss style.

He did! -You can't see this kind of build on other maps.

Since Peter is good at Shuttle play,

Cloud is preparing for Peter's Shuttle play.

Peter doesn't just rely on his senses. He practices a lot, too.

When you look at his units and buildings positions, you know he prepared a lot for this.

Since he doesn't have any Observers, he's weak against Vultures.

So, he took the base where a Vulture can't easily go in. After he got enough units, then he went for his natural expansion.

Peter's play is very unique and unorthodox,

but he's way ahead of Cloud at this time.

The third Nexus is almost done and he has 3 Gateways and 2 upcoming Gateways, so he will get mass units quickly.

Good expansion timing, plenty of Gateways, and he also has a Citadel of Adun.

Meanwhile, Terran just has his natural expnsion and is building additional Factories.

So, when they engage in the center, Protoss will overwhelm Terran.

He will have enough resources to run multiple Gateways and speed-upgraded Zealots.

The game observer just captured the right spot at the right time.

Cloud scanned Peter's natural expansion, but...

But he didn't scan 12 o'clock!

When you look at the minimap, Cloud scanned 3 o'clock instead!

So, Cloud may think Peter has only 1 expansion now.

Even if he finds the 12 o'clock base, it's too far away.

This is the first time a Protoss player has taken the 12 o'clock base first.

When Cloud finds it, he'll likely say, "Oh no!"

That 12 o'clock base is already running well.

It's all up to these Vultures.

Anyway, Peter's Robotics was late, and he only has 1 Observer now.

Cloud is going!

But Peter already has enough units to defend.

Cloud's Vulture play has failed!

Usually when a Protoss player is about to finish the natural expansion base, Terran starts to move.

But Cloud can't find a good time to move out.

These Vultures must do some damage,

because Protoss took an early expansion, you know.

But that also failed. Peter is way ahead now. Way ahead.

If you just count the expansion timing, Peter's is better.

Cloud must feel like he's hitting a wall.

Peter's plan is working well. -He must remove those Dragoons.

But Terran always has a counterblow. He never damaged his economy.

He took an expansion at the right time so he could produce enough units,

but in order to execute a counterblow, he needs to use these Vultures.

Protoss now has enough resources to run many Gateways.

This Vulture play fails again.

Cloud's Vulture play fails again and he keeps losing Vultures.

Peter's Dragoons have come out now.

Now Peter has to reduce Cloud's units. After removing those Tanks, he can take another expansion, then go for Stargates.

I don't see Peter making Probes at 12 o'clock and his natural expansion. He's mass producing units.

Cloud is making an additional Command Center. He decided to take another expansion.

I think that's a good strategy.

Cloud doesn't have to move out because Peter has so many units now.

Right now, he can just defend his base, then take either one of...

I thought Peter was going to lose those Zealots. That's why I screamed.

Cloud is making two Command Centers now. One for 3 o'clock, another for 6 o'clock.

Uhhh Vulture! Vulture!

Peter's defense and Dragoon formation are very good.

Combination and number of units are not bad either.

Clouds should attack when Carriers are about to come.

Since that 12 o'clock base has an Assimilator, he can assume Peter is going for either Carriers or Templar.

Cloud must do something now, or else he will just lose.

So Cloud makes an expansion base and tries to lure Peter's units.

Peter may go there to destroy it.

Cloud can put some pressure on Peter by taking additional expansions.

That's a good strategy by Cloud, but if he gives more time to Peter, Peter will take advantage of his early expansion.

Peter is cleaning up Mines all over the map.

He needed to harass Protoss with Vultures, then run Factories and two Armories

so he can counter Carriers later. Peter's Observer Speed upgrade is complete.

Peter is warping additional Stargates. There are a total of 3.

Since you can't build Turrets in the center, that puts Terran at a disadvantage.

Oh~ Vultures are hunting Zealots!

Cloud must do something with these Vultures so he can operate additional bases and two Armories.

Vultures are heading to this base.

1 Dragoon and 2 Photon Cannons are defending this base.

This base isn't really fully working now.

But he can slow down Peter a bit. -Yes.

Oh, he forgot to click Minerals? A little mistake?

Peter needs to focus a little more on macro control now.

Peter's units came to defend. -I don't think that Vulture raid was successful.

Stargates are blinking now.

What will be Cloud's next move? He has Tanks there...

He has many units, but they don't look threating.

Does he have Armories?... there. Only 1 is working now.

He should've run it right after he finished the expansion.

If Cloud rushes with those units, I wonder how far he can push.

Peter can rush with 3 Carriers and ground units first, then he can bring more Carriers.

How many units does Protoss have now?

There aren't that many. -There are 3 Shuttles, also. -If they have Zealots in there, then it's a different story.

Cloud is going up.

Oooh!! If Peter had just attacked 6 o'clock base, he would have been trapped.

Shuttles are there. Since Terran can't build Turrets, Shuttles are delaying those units.

Cloud can't move!

Cloud must be in trouble. -Carriers came out!

Shuttles are just there!

What if Cloud builds a Turret somewhere around there?

There are no Goliaths, either.

So, Peter just leaves them there. -Right, right.

This is a Terran expansion. Ah~!

They engaged!

This is Protoss...

This isn't really good for Protoss.

What if Peter stepped back and delayed a bit more.

Peter is retreating. That's a good decision.

Since he has many Gateways, he will get mass units soon. He can also bring those Carriers.

I see 4 Carriers now. It will be 6 pretty soon.

Cloud's discovered the Carriers.

Since those Tanks are here, they should, at least, destroy that Nexus.

Uh? Are those Interceptor-upgraded? Ah, that one has 5.

Goliaths came to help. -They came in, good timing!

Cloud should retreat those Tanks and wait for more Goliaths.

And Peter, if he can destroy those units, he can rush Cloud's 6 o'clock base.

He must chase and destroy these units.

Oh, he could bring ground units too.

Peter took the entire upper part of the map. So, as soon as he gets 6 Carriers, he will attack.

Peter will have a good combination of units.

Ohh. -Ahhh.

Cloud got 1 Carrier.

Peter has already reinforced with many ground units.

He has many Gateways.

Peter can rush with Carriers and ground units.

And, if he can manage to destroy 1 base on each rush, he will win.

Cloud must know Peter's plan.

Peter's hidden plan worked perfectly. His unit balance is really good.

They engaged! -This is good for Protoss. Protoss has more resources than Terran.

Carriers in the air and Dragoons on the ground!

He lost some ground units but he still has Carriers. He just needs to remove those Goliaths and some Tanks.

Terran can't slow down Protoss' economy now.

I think he could use his Carriers some more.

Cloud is going up,

but I don't think he can destroy more than 1 expansion.

Because Peter has many Gateways at 11 o'clock, too. -Cloud will be lucky to keep those units alive.

Peter is chasing Cloud's retreating units. -Mass production!

Peter's macro control and unit balance are very good.

The record is 2-0 now. Peter is doing well on this 3rd round.

He is doing extremely well.

Ground forces can't match.

This is a winning scenario for Protoss.

Peter thrusts KOR team's weak point!

Peter is amazing. -He took the 12 o'clock expansion first then went for his natural expansion.

I am thinking Peter has suggested a new PvT strategy on R-Point.

Peter isn't going further now. He's just destroying those Terran bases.

Wow, those SCVs...

He can overwhelm Cloud even with pure ground units.

Peter's micro control may need more development,

but his expansion timing, unit combinations and unit formations are good. So, he can produce mass units.

Even though Cloud is in a slump, he is a very talented player.

Peter is dominating this Terran player.

Peter, wow. -3 additional Carriers came. Look at them.

Yesterday Hanbit was losing 0-2 but they won eventually.

I think Peter is starting to create that same scenario.

He did! -Geee Geee!

Wow~! -Peter started the fire!

Peter! -That smile! That smile!

Lots of people wanted to see that smile!

That's a total killer!
