If you are a very new player to SC2 and wish to get a huge jump-start in learning to play Terran, you can definitely use this short document as well! Take a look.
Basically these are step by step instructions on how to get into at least Diamond league. If you are curious about how valid the builds are, they were written by KawaiiRice the night before this was posted up. The builds are easy to execute, and generally good against most of what the opposing players can throw at you (though written in only a couple minutes). They should be great for new players to learn.
Steps to start practice:
-Login
-Click Multiplayer top left
-Click create game bottom right
-Type in search bar YABOT
-Select a map you want to try with [Official] at beginning of name, and author xorpwnz
NOTE: Only use the following maps: Lost Temple; Metalopolis; Scrap Station; Shakuras Plataeu; Xel Naga Caverns
-Hit Start
-Once map loads just hit start game
-Map allows you to try build for 10 minutes, then stops
-To restart round type -r into chat
Finish up one build over and over in the YABOT map until you have it memorized. Then start on another one. Once you have all three memorized go ahead and start trying them against people on ladder (I really don't like the idea of trying against computers). Just hit the find match button.

TvT Cloak Banshee Expand: 10 depot; 12 rax; 13 gas; 15 orbital; 100 gas factory and 2nd gas; nonstop marines -> starport when factory done -> 8 marine 4 hellion medivac push -> tech lab on starport -> cloak (upgrade on tech lab starport) + banshee; command center -> +2 barrack -> marine tank
Notes: Controlling the center of the map is really important. Other players will likely use marines and seige tanks against you, so flanking the enemy tanks is good if you can.
TvZ 2 Rax Expand: 10 depot; 12; rax; 14 rax; 15 orbital; 22 depot; 400 mineral cc +2rax +2gas; tech lab on rax; factory; starport; marine tank medivac
Notes: You can be really aggressive with the marines early in the game because the zerg is trying to get a hatchery up. You can even put a bunker down at the zerg's hatchery at the zerg's natural expansion when you have only one marine and one scv at the hatchery, this is a bunker rush.
TvP 2 Rax Concussive Shells Expand: 10 depot; 12 rax; 13 gas; 15 orbital; Marine; Reactor; Barracks -> tech lab on 2nd rax -> marines marauder concussive shell -> push with 2 marauders ~6-8 marines +3 scvs and expand
Notes: You will get concussive shells (marauder upgrade) at the tech lab once it finishes. When you push, you attack with the scvs. The scvs go in front and they pretty much just take some extra hits and deal a little damage during the push. Expand right when you have enough money (while you are attacking/walking across map to attack).
IMPORTANT: Once you get past the first few minutes, you will always be constantly making scvs, marines, and supply depots. Always! If you are constantly making your medivacs/tanks and your marines/scvs/depots and still cannot spend your money, then make more barracks!
