Idra won a game more, but also lost a game more. Do the math, 6:5 is better than 7:6 - not that it should matter tho, Idra won the direct confrontation and that should actually count if both are +1. Everything else would be stupid. Actually the result of the match between those two should be the first deciding factor imo, because it's not a league, where the score difference tells us a lot more due to the fact that they played a lot more games. Stop acting like idiots all of you. Since they have the same amount of points (9) and the same "goal" difference (+1) Idra advances due to beating Grubby in their match up. Dont you people watch any professional sport at all, thats how it works in football or anything else.
This. I dont understand how this even became an topic of discussion...

anyone know where vods for todays matches can be located?

Not too surprising to be honest. Going all the way to the USA to have to fight through all the open bracket for a 5k price is just not worth it.
Where did you find the interviews by the way?

It depends on each caster I think. Mainstreams vods will be on day9.tv

MC casting w/ TB was real cool. Nice way to round the day off.

yeah i hope mlg ramps up the prize a bit.
but you have to understand that it is just a 3 day event so of course the prize isnt that high. 3 days for 5k is very good.

I'm pretty sure they are aware that they have Grubby on 2nd place, so I doubt it's a mistake. They're leading the Grubby fanboys on for the lulz. TBH Grubby keeps getting all these invites just because of his WC3 success so it shouldn't be a shock if he advances over IdrA. You realise how dumb that sounds when he beat Kas and Naama, so he is clearly worthy of an invite, right? For sure, the fact that he went 3-2 in his group has nothing to do with it. He did good, fair enough. But he got the invite before going 3-2 in his group and his results prior to that weren't exactly...impressive. At his last lan he took 3rd and beat alot of good players like TLO and morrow 3 0, HATER GONNA HATE situation going down right here. Grubby performs on LAN he is a vet. If you are guna start hating on grubby I mean why the fuck would you invite Tyler or TT1 or even fucking Jinro rofl? Neither have "performed" recently does that mean they will never be good again or wont improve? tyler hasnt performed as of late so while I see your opinion there I dont see how you can compoare Jinro at all. He has been in Korea and have not been attending anything but DH invitational and that really doesnt messure his skill level at this time. I am not attacking him I am just saying this "performed" shit is useless. Im just using jinro as an example because he has flopped out of everything the last month or so. Does that mean Jinro should never get an invite to an event again or doesnt deserve to be there no.

And that's really too bad, especially considering how amazingly Thorzain played at Columbus

I hope MC commentates some more at Dreamhack. TB seemed really impressed with him so maybe its a possibility if MC isn't too busy!

it's in this weird balance though, the only reason that the koreans don't come to MLG from their volition is because the prize money is so low, if the prize is increased you could see the korean invasion that so many people were talking about a month ago

I think it's more the fact of how terrible the open bracket experience is compared to the seeded players.

yeah, the Thorzains post about the MLG makes that clear

My favorite part of the day was when MC called Huks build "so bad." I want to see MC and Tyler co-cast protoss players games. They could criticize protoss builds all dat and then MC could challenge Nony to a showmatch as Terran.

Morrow's decision to play T vs Z wasn't a very convincing decision....
