I was in a 3-year on and off relationship with one girl. First, after a while, she thought she was bi. Later, towards the very end, she thought she was lesbian. Now that i look back, i dont see any reason why i would have ever wanted to date her for as long as i did. I honestly like being single.

My car became my "girlfriend replacement" after I got dumped. Shortly after our one year, too haha.

I am too lazy to go back and quote the guy - but he's right. Live your life happy, or try to be happy. Let yourself be unhappy for a bit, but make a plan to get back in your normal routine. The longer you stay unhappy about it, the worse you'll end up being in the long run.

Also that... the fish aren't going anywhere, and sometimes a few months off can be a good time for a healing experience and just like getting back in touch with yourself.
