We will be moderating harshly in this thread. Think twice before you post. Things we are watching for: image macros, balance whining, "eagles", player bashing etc. We encourage civil and reasoned critique of our moderation - please post it in the website feedback forum.
Please don't complain about MLG stream quality or MLG itself. They work very hard to provide you with an enjoyable service.
Enough with the racism discussions, this is a LR Thread. Cut it out. -- updated 7:55 KST |

I hope its on blue. All my browsers refuse to load the stream any more. If I refresh the only tab working I won't get on again. Not only that but current stream is 2 minutes behind.

Siege up and wait for him to make a mistake, MMA.

losira is SO aggressive, its beautiful to behold

Losira easily handles those hellions and decides to become aggressive himself morphing in a nice amount of banelings going for a bust, while expanding.

losira takes his 3rd while doing the bust!

In Korea you basically only play the GSL while there's a lot more oppurtunities in the US and Europe Yea i wouldn't want to play in the NFL and play for $50,000 when i can dominate the CFL and win the $250 prize pools. The only prize pools worth anything in the US are the MLG overall championship and blizzcon and the koreans will come to win those. Thats the problem with the north american players, they want to settle for lesser leagues because becoming the best takes too much work. I think idra doesnt want to go back to korea because he got run out the first time because of his attitude is my guess. He didn't get run out -.-.. He said the scene is easier to succeed here instead of playing in one hard tournament. Between NASL, IEM, Dreamhack, and MLG, the prize pool for foreign events is bigger than that of the GSL. Korea has their own smaller tournaments, I realize, but I believe the two scenes are pretty equal in terms of prize pool, and the foreign scene is much easier. It makes a lot more sense to stay in the US, where you were _born_, than to live in a foreign country where you'll probably end up making less money. Foreigners can say goodbye to easy money. If koreans start invading western lans foreigners are gonna be bankrupt soon.
naw, they'll just have to actually practice. NA players don't practice more than a few hours a day at the moment.
If SC2 is anywhere nearly as balanced as BW, the more practice the better.

no that math is severely flawed because of the frequency of events between korea and world. NASL spans over 3 months, in that same time you will have 3 GSL tournaments and maybe even a GSTL as well. far more money in korea to be had if you can place at the top. plus you can play in nasl from korea too.

Don't reply to these comments.. people watch games for different reasons. I do because I love starcraft, which means I'll be happy to watch koreans at the top if they are truly the best. Other people watch for the hype, and they feel more excited when their homies play. I understand the feelings of many people, although I feel that shouldn't make them miss quality starcraft games.

when a korean smashes the foreigners in a lan everyone says korea>world

then finally the koreans smash them in another lan to repeat the cycle.
Been living under a rock? It's been pretty clear since GSL world championship that korea is miles ahead. No one is writing stuff like that anymore

MMA said he thought he'd lost. The marines weren't inc and Idra could have killed all the Tanks with his Mutas.
The reason Idra gg'd was, ironically, because MMA accidentally killed his CC. He saw it being built earlier and when he saw the CC being built at the gold he assumed that MMA already had a 3rd up and was getting a 4th.
