Q what are your feelings at coming back to the finals after two seasons
A even though this is not a long period of time, it feels like forever to
me. I've been criticized as not being as good as my past self, so I am very
happy that I can escape that criticism for now.
Q how did you feel after last season's finish in the round of 32
A It's been a long time since I've been to the finals, I'm very excited.
Right now I feel like its my first time going to a finals. I really want
to play the finals match right now
Q how did you prepare for the semi-finals
A my wrist injury has been getting worse and worse, so I rested a lot last
week, starting this week I began a 3-4 day hard practice. I didn't rest
one bit, I put in a lot of effort and practiced till my hands were falling
off.
Q in the first semifinal group Jaedong lost, do you regret that?
A I feel a bit uncomfortable with it. I can't really express it with words.
The Jaedong-hyun that I wished to meet in the finals has lost, the feeling
is just as bad as if I had lost personally. Jaedong-hyun is an excellent
progamer, I believe that one day he will definately make the finals again.
Q You had an overwhelming victory against Hydra, what are your feelings.
A I don't really have a lot to say about this. I'm very satisfied with these
games. I still don't completely understand the way Hydra-hyun plays, so
I have no comment right now.
Q The finals is going to be another Z, how confident are you
A even though I'm confident, I still have to say its a 50-50 chance. I saw
the maps for the finals, even though there's no maps that are unfriendly
for terran, there are no maps that greatly favor terran either. Recently
my hand's condition was not good, but yesterday the feelings in my hands
returned, I will work hard to bring exciting games next week.
Q what is the condition of your hands right now?
A Allegedly doctors can no longer completely cure it. But they also say
that it is not a huge problem right now. I am trying hard during the times
that there are no games to rest a lot, after this when I have time I need
to seriously treat it.
Q what do you think the score will be for the finals
A I predict either a 3:1 or 3:2.
Q anything more you wish to say?
A I'm very proud to be able to enter the finals. To savor such a flavor,
I need to prepare for this even more than I did for the semi-finals, to
play such exciting games that it makes the opponent say "this hyun* really
put in effort for this."
*TN:not sure about this part now that i think about it, its just a term to refer to someone else with respect I think

Main points to note:
Apparently flash's wrists are incurable, this may be a clock counting down to when flash may be forced to retire, as such lets root for this player who overcomes personal injury in order to deliver exciting BW for us to watch, whether you be a flash fan or not.

Flash: Yes?
Commentator:Congratulations on getting into the finals. How do you feel?
Flash: Pardon?
Commentator: How do you feel about your win?
Flash: Well, first of all, although it's only been a few months, it feels like it's been quite a long time since I've been in a finals. I really practiced like it was life or death. I'll practice until my arms fall off for the finals.
Commentator: You won the first game convincingly but the second game gave you some trouble. It seems like you smiled brightly when you won the game in reflection of how the game was so hard won. What were you thinking in the midst of the game?
Flash: I was thinking a bit about the third game. I was thinking, "I shouldn't put myself in such a position in the third game". I was already doing a bit of mind control [preparing not to be mentally shaken after a loss] but the game progressed and I was able to make a comeback. When I won the game I was certain that I would advance to the finals.
Commentator: Many of your fans are looking forward to you winning the gold badge. Your opponent in the finals is Zero, what do you think about this?
Flash: When it comes to management, I think he is the top Zerg. Generally if the game becomes management vs management I am confident I will win, but when it comes to Zero I can't be certain about the outcome. That's how strong of a player he is.
Commentator: Your semifinals was a ZvT and so will the finals. It seems like this would give you some trouble when it comes to gameplan and strategies. Is there anything you'd like to say to Zero? Like a declaration of war.
Flash: I really didn't like how I was playing TvZ over and over again this MSL. When I played TvZ, I felt like my skills were really deteriorated. When I practiced I would think, "ah, how did I become like this?" So this time I really practiced until my arm swelled up. Right now I managed to bring up my skills really high. If I bring the ability I have right now to the finals, even though my opponent might be Zero, I think I can win.
Commentator: Is there anything you'd like to say to your fans? Any promises and thanks you'd like to give?
Flash I really practiced until I was going to go crazy, so my arm hurts a lot right now. But every time I thought of the fans and remembered how I was knocked out early in the last tournament. I really practiced like my arm was going to break, and I'll practice even harder for the finals.
