There's a window where you can simply die to an aggressive Protoss. I think the question that people ask themselves is, why does Jaedong think he has to go to such lengths to defeat a rookie Protoss? Why not just play standard and be safe?

First Flash ''ruined christmas'' by cheesing JD out of OSL (lol, that LR-thread was hilarious) and then the Power Outage happened on top of that later the same season. I mean, we still get along much better than Flash fans and Bisu fans for example, but the relationship isn't as good as it used to be, I think. Flash fans and Jaedong fans got along really well when Jaedong was clearly the better player and Flash was a constant disappointment in leagues. When he goes on to become a record setting champion and beat Jaedong specifically many times the fans get at odds. Jaedong fans enjoyed Jaedong's success over Flash and Flash fans were, well, few and far between back then so there wasn't much conflict. Flash gains lots of fans when he becomes amazing, and with lots of fans comes lots of opinions, and comes lots of arguments.

Things soured between Flash/JD fans after Nate... then heated up considerably during their next 3 finals meetings. I would say MOST JD and Flash fans have actually mellowed out alot since Bigfile. The resurgence of Bisu has provided us with a common enemy

But why? Neither was Flash gay, nor did he ruin Christmas. He was already legitimately one of the best players back then. It's not like Frozean knocked him out or something.

Funny history. ^__^ This, that thread was probably the biggest shitfest of all time, even more than the recent Kellymilkis photoshoot thread, lets leave it in the past ^^. On another note, is Hydra playing Jaedong next? or the winner of Flash Leta or what O_o.

Jaedong said in the last interview that Grapes macro sucks. It makes sens that he went for the late game.

What use is going for late game if you die on the way? :> I mean it did work out, but it might as well have not. People consider it an unnecessary risk I think.

He did play better than expected, I'll give him that. But playing the same way every single game in a Bo5 is rarely a good idea I think. I'm just trying to explain why people are wondering about Jaedong's ZvP builds lately.
