All fanboyism aside, IdrA's cast (especially the last day when he was more comfortable and took more space for himself) was just on another level than what I've seen in any caster so far.
I was sitting there captivated by all the little details he picked up, the subtle changes, the tricks and plays with the metagame that the gamers were doing, that no other caster would have noticed. He was analyzing how the patch affected the guys play on the spot, and taking into account how Whiteras past style would affect his play with the patch.
The tiny hints of smugness when casting Crunchers game made the chat erupt in pleasure. I thought the chat was going to crash when IdrA said "unfortunately that is good for Cruncher" as he was preparing his proxy stargates. When White-ra was doing the winners interview, and more or less brutalized the English language with his Russian awesomeness, IdrA was struggling so hard to keep his pokerface, but 10.000 nerds in the chat were all yelling for IdrA to lose it on air. It was beautiful.
All in all, IdrA wasn't selling us anything. He wasn't pimping his shirt site, he wasn't promoting his website or his girlfriends competition. He wasn't there to bullshit anyone. He was just pouring out his knowledge about the game, raw and unedited.. and no other caster could compare.
