Hey, I just bought a Steelseries 7g keyboard. I plugged it in and started typing away (I'm using it right now). However, I've found the left control key doesn't work. It doesn't work in any programs on my computer. The right control key works fine unfortunately it's a bit less useful for control groups and opening new tabs in my browser. Anyone more tech savvy than I out there who can help me figure out how to get it working or do I have to send the keyboard back?
(I'm using windows XP)

Try it on a different computer to see it if is broken. Then 'RMA' it. Also: Get rid of XP (won't fix the keyboard though).

I'd imagine your ctrl key is shorting inside your keyboard or something alone those lines if you test it on another computer and it does the same thing. In that case you would have to send it back unless you are brave enough to open it up and try to fix it yourself, which would void any warranty you have.

Have you tried restarting your computer / cleaning the control key / replugging the keyboard?

I haven't gotten the opportunity to try it on a different computer yet, though I will. I have restarted the computer and unplugged/plugged back in the keyboard. I've tried plugging it in via USB and ps/2 and neither have the control key functioning.
