djWHEAT - I mean I've been watching and listening to wheat forever, I've watched every episode of Live on Three with him, Scoots, and Slasher, as well as WoC, called in on the pilot episode I believe, and thats how djWHEAT reached out to me and gave me a beta key. He's helped me with becoming a mod on so many big-name streams which is how I've gotten to become a justin.tv admin. I've gotten to go on Kings of Tin with him and wacksteven a couple of times, played a couple of random showmatches/KoTH on his stream back in beta, its been fantastic, he's got to be one of the most influential people in esports of all time, and I'm glad to have met him in person on multiple occasions and say that I'm a friend of his.
Fishstix - Ben's another guy thats just meant the world to me, he and I share the same passion for all esports and competition, whether its Starcraft 2, Quake, Counterstrike, SSF4/MvC3, HoN, doesn't matter, we watch it all because we love competition. He's the one I reached out to, to become a part of Gamescast, which has eventually transitioned to my role of head of partnership/social media at Gamescast TV. I've met a lot of people through Ben and everything has been great.
Day9 - I was able to become a mod for his show back around July of last year, did that for a few months but then got so swamped iwth school that I couldn't find the time to watch it every day. Nowadays I catch all the VOD's at night. I was lucky enough to meet Sean some time around May or June last year, when he was in Maryland. Small group of TL people went bowling with him, where his epic carpel tunnel made for some serious lulz. For those who haven't had the chance to meet him in person he just has a great natural talent for amazing and hilarious storytelling, his persona in person is just like you'd imagine. Got a chance to see him again at MLG DC, and again at PAX East, where he helped me, Gunrun, and Fishstix get into the filled out "Night with Day9 and Husky" show as "VIPs" lol, which was basically Seans way of saying, "just let these three guys in", to the enforcers
Luckyfool - Rob's been a part of Starcraft and Teamliquid for years before me, but its nice to meet a guy that loves the game as much as him. He sets up the DC/Virginia/Maryland LANs and meetups that we do so regularly, and it was nice to meet him back around April last year, and we've pretty much met up once a week since then haha.
CaucasianAsian - In the same ilk as Rob, the guy loves BW and is one of the most fun and nice guys I've ever met, has offered me a lot in terms of rides and has been a great friend when it comes to games, Poker, or just life. Seriously the DC-area people I've met have all been wonderful over the years.
DC people - Shoutouts to all of you guys, I'd write in depth about each but I'm about to run late to class haha, but people like Storrzerg, Sadistx, orb, and Haemonculus are pretty much the people I've met from the start, but that also extends to "newer" people like Corrupt, crescentia, and the list goes on and on (even intrigue shows up once a blue moon). Some of my best friends are these guys from TL that come out on Saturday nights at 10 PM to Annandale and have korean bbq as a big group, great times every time.
Lz - Jake's an awesome guy hahaha, one of the first streams I modded for I think, he's super friendly, him and Machine are just two of the nicest guys on Starcraft and its awesome to see two pros that can be professionals but also some of the friendliest people ever. It's a big reason that EG is my favorite pro team, is because of those two, and the chats I've had with them, Strifecro, Axslav, iNcontroL, and the likes have just been too many memories that I'll be able to keep down the road.
kellymilkies - She's one hell of a loyal friend through everything, she deserves the world and yet time and time again you'll read all the annoying bandwagoning posts here on TL about her, but I know that she has a passion for SC2 and a passion for esports, and I hope that her path leads to something great.
All my guys at Gamescast - Greased, Mattc0m, Aeso, Kokarn, Slava, Ravager, Jodo, eagle, and Coji, as well as the new guys dukat, Zellidon, and Blademage. You guys sure make a project like that fun and I can't wait for what we have in store real soon.
Thegunrun - Was always happy to mod glhf.tv back when they were on ustream, and to meet Gunrun at MLG DC was a blast, and again at PAX East where I just had the greatest weekend of my life yet. He's helped me set up my stream and no joke, this guy is a legend when it comes to streams haha, wish him the best at jtv and hope that maybe some day I'll be able to join him in esports.
chobopeon - Was always one of my favorite writers about Starcraft and I've been glad to be in touch with him over the past few months with everything.
And to all the rest, boesthius, Kennigit, prodiG, snatcch, JP, Colbi, Lastshadow, diamond, coL.Ryan, Sirscoots and of course Slasher <3, and the rest.
I'm sure I'm missing out some people, I'm really sorry if I did and don't take offense to it, I'll be adding more people as I remember, but for now I gotta run to my next class.
I love Team Liquid, its meant so much to me the past year and a half, I know I have like a million warnings and like ~5 bans by now but I care so much about this site and its community, it really is great.
