"The sound proofing on stage isn't perfect, I could actually hear that he was making a voidray in the first game"
Wasn't this something that was complained about last MLG? That is pretty huge, hearing "Voidray" is pretty harsh for whoever hes going up against, but what if it was something like "DT" or "Banshee", that is game ending...
Were there any efforts made to actually improve the sound proofing situation?
The MLG admins were already noted and no more reports came out afterwards that player could continue hearing the sound. So they probably fixed it already.
He told admins after the match, that is why they stopped pumping the casters into the crowd. (Hence when JP was casting he asked people to make noise for Tyler and no one cheered **They could no longer hear them**)
Seems like investing in a pair of noise-canceling headsets like the ones that ground traffic controllers use on aircraft carriers would seem like a no brainer. Sadly it doesn't seem like that's the case.

Well, it seems to me like MLG is producing epic fails in all aspects of their little event.
