Thoughts on the 2-kill you completed today?
I knew that the first game would be a vZ or a vP, so I had full confidence. Killer probably didn't think that his adversary would be a Terran, so I had more confidence.
Could you explain briefly your strategy?
It's a science vessel rush build order, but my opponent blocked it easily, so I had no choice but to make Wraiths. It looks like Wraiths weren't as effective as I anticipated. I'm not really sure how, but I won anyway. (haha)
It looked like a slow mech transition – is this the reason for your recent strength?
The build depends on solid play to get good win rates, so Terrans often use it.
In game 2, did you predict your opponent would be Dear?
This time I only prepared for a single game again (haha). I originally thought to play the same way I did in practice, but after seeing the situation I went for a 2fac. My opponent's cyber core wasn't spinning, so I expected him to make a Reaver. When I saw his shuttle fly by, I resolutely made wraiths of my own. I blasted my way into the enemy main with killing intent, and the result was good.
Against KT, do you want to be the team's vanguard again?
Even though the maps aren't favorable for Terrans, if my coaches decide so, then I'll work very hard to prepare for it. I'll get at least 1 kill.
Your confidence seems to have risen enormously during SWL playoffs.
MSL is rather more worrisome. In proleague, I have a lot of outstanding players behind me, so I don't need to be as anxious. I can relax and play better.
Your expectations for your match against KT?
We've battled our way into the finals, and there's just this one match left. We never beat KT in SWL, but I hope this time we'll be standing on stage as the winners.
Anything else?
During preparations, pressure was high, so thanks a lot to the coaches who helped me a lot. Also, I owe a lot to the help of Sun, Best, and Soo; without them, I couldn't have won today. Thanks.
s2
You assisted your team with a kill.
Today I brought home 1 win. I practiced mainly ZvP, and the results were pretty good. I had opportunities to beat Jaedong, but I lost regrettably. However, the team won, so I'm happy.
You beat PerfectMan with intense pushing.
I've noticed that PerfectMan usually plays an aggressive style, so I decided to first defend a push and then strike back with a counterattack. My plan succeeded, and I was able to win.
Before today, your head-to-head record with Jaedong was 2:0.
Looking at records alone, I lead Jaedong, but he's definitely a more skilled player. I worked hard to not let myself lack concentration, but Jaedong is an incredible player. I guess the head-to-head record is just numbers after all.
Thoughts on the game against Jaedong?
He managed to kill off some of my workers with a zergling runby, but I think there were still timings when I could have won with mutalisks. But I lost the muta battle, so I was done for.
Do you think you'll make an appearance against KT?
I have confidence in my ZvZ, and I'm working hard on my other matchups too, so I hope to get a chance to play. If I can go up, I'll be sure to put on a spectacular game. KT's been impressive recently, so we can't let our guards down. In these last two games, we've cut breaks to practice, and we hope to earn a championship for our efforts.
Anything else?
My teammates helped me a lot, so thanks! The coaches also gave me a lot of tips in practice, and their help raised m confidence, so I'm thankful for that as well.

Thoughts on clinching the match?
We're now facing our first ever SWL playoff final, and I helped us get there with my own two hands. It's an incredible feeling. In SWL, our team often goes into a deep slump, but this season our goal in SWL is to be the best. I'm extremely happy.
Was your game against Jaedong very tense?
When s2 lost, I thought “I might have to go up too.” So I was a little nervous. Also, Fantasy got a bad spawn, so he lost out in the opening. At that point I knew I had to prepare to play. When I stood up on stage, I started shaking. I haven't played for some time, much less been our team's ace player. My mental state was half nervous half pumped.
Did you prepare mainly to play on Fortress SE?
Before, I had a very solid grasp of this map. Even though I was fine with playing on any map, the coaches didn't finalize the lineup until we reached the stadium. I told the coaches, “I've got a lot of confidence playing on Fortress SE.” So they let me play in game 7.
You played unbelievably well against Jaedong.
My PvZ has lately been terrible. I lost a lot in practice, and my confidence was declining. So today I was worried that I wouldn't be able to play well, but I ended up doing fine. My PvZ has been in a vicious cycle, but beating Jaedong today helped me break out somewhat. Of course, if I had lost, that would have stoked me too. But I'm confident that my teammates can snipe opposing Protoss or Terran, so I can concentrate on PvZ. (haha)
Your team's record against KT in SWL is bad, but you'll have to face them again in the finals.
I don't know if KT is this good against other teams, but against us, they're insanely good. I don't know why, but I feel like this will be a very intense match. If I play well, I think we can beat them. But the odd thing is, whenever I face KT I become very chobo. (haha)
Are there any players you want to face in particular?
No matter who I play, I'll strive to win. I remember losing to all of KT's players, so this time I have to repay the favor. I haven't seen the map order yet, but when I get back and see it, I'll listen to the coaches' lineup choices.
What are your expectations for your match against KT?
Some might think KT's only truly good player is Flash, but that's definitely not true. I want to make a breakthrough in this series, but I've been playing badly lately, so I don't think it'll happen (haha). I've had confidence, but the games just ended up going badly. It reveals part of me too. My PvT and PvP have been bad, so if I can win against KT's Protoss or Terran, it'll impact me deeply.
Anything else?
It's been 6 months since our last meeting in the finals. Our corporate sponsor also wants us to win, so we must win. We already lost to KT once, so to give our team the courage to win, I must personally succeed. Also, thanks to Hyuk and Soo, who helped me practice.
Coach Park
After the match, Coach Park said, "Often, when we face KT, they knock us down. This time, we have to take revenge."
During the series, after Jaedong obtained a 2-kill, Coach Park looked very worried. Coach Park explained: "In the game against s2, Jaedong showed a resolute courage, even beyond his demeanor in the past." However, Coach Park said of the following game, "Bisu practiced very little for game 7, but he still performed admirably. Jaedong went for spire tech as he commonly does, so we capitalized."
Finally, regarding their upcoming match against KT, Coach Park remarked, "We have a trump card that can top Flash." He added, "This strategy we're refining is a primarily vT strategy. However, KT recently acquired Crazy-Hydra for their Zerg line, their Protoss line is looking strong as ever, and Action continues to grow. Their 3 lineups are all looking formidable. We need to consider the entirety of KT as we prepare. And we'll definitely win."
