Sorry about the previous post, I'll make more comprensive posts and update them rather than making multiple, shorts posts. Wasn't sure how to go about it
1:30 - Kiwikaki warming up on ladder, plays Combat-Ex and loses to a cannon rush. Combat-Ex, classy as always, BMs the whole time. Kiwi rebounds and deathballs a Zerg next game.
2:30 - Tyler warming up agasint a Zerg from NRG (can't remember who). TLO and I stand behind him and watch as Tyler PULLS OUT HIS PHONE to check a message while defending an 8Pool with his mouse only. What a boss!
Some of the other big names on the floor right now include Drewbie, Slush, Fayth and a few of the VT/LG guys. Seeing alot of unknown open bracket players with solid mechanics too!
3:00 - There's still a huge line of players streaming into the venue to sign in. While I was outside I saw FXO, EG and Socke in line.
And for anyone wondering, Sheth IS HERE! I talked to him, shook his hand and everything. The mysterious Zerg beast has emerged from the shadows to show off his skills at a major LAN (finally!)
Got the chance to watch Drewbie and Slush playing a practice game on Xe'lNaga. Drewbie was controlling the map, shutting down expos and working up to the fancy new BCs while Slush was trying to break through with Infestor/Broodlord. Fun game! Too bad I didn't get to stay till the end :/
Have a meeting to go to real quick, then I'll head back out to the Warmup area to see more gosus in action
4:15 - Tons of great players out warming up right now, including Idra, Machine, InControl, Select, Axslav and Socke. Ret is waiting for a spot and looking very snazzy in a black sportcoat.
TLO just destroyed some poor open-bracket Protoss on one of the feature stages much to the delight of a pretty big crowd. He was really showing off his multitasking by dropping two fronts and attacking a third on the ground. His opponent was completely overwhelmed.
Gonna take a break to eat real quick, hopefully I'll be able to get back in time for some more warm-up reporting before the real action begins
4:50 - Got back from eating just before warmups ended, and watched PainUser and Axslav play a practice game on XelNaga. PainUser was using an interesting style, incorporating alot of blue-flame Hellions into a standard Bio/Medivac/Viking comp both for fighting and harrass, but couldn't keep Axslav from taking the Gold. Axslav's Collosus push eventually broke PainUser, despite some nice dual-pronged harrass with Hellions and Bio that slowed him down.
Warmups are done, so no more action until the tourney starts at 5:30. I'll be covering the matches on the feature stages, and as many from the main tourney area as I can, on the MLG live blog. I'll post as much here as I can too.
We're almost there!

Nice ! :D Keep 'em coming dude ! I love reading this pre-MLG stuff that's going on there.

seriously what is with Combat EX? does he just flame everyone he plays? kid has an awful lot of frustration built up in him it's really pathetic.. doesn't he realize how much of an idiot he's making of himself? funny too because he flamed Idra for playing SC2 while he's studying at "university" (lol) yet he's a complete fucking moron and an embarassment to college students, he litearlly acts like a 2 year old.. someone needs to tell him that just because your currently enrolled in a university doesn't autmatically mean your going to be succesful and that your better than everyone else.. in fact my guess is he won't even graduate or get a decent job since he's wasted so much of his life already making those useless SC1 fpvods..
