keep up the good work chill, you are my favorite, together with tastosis and NuketheStars
You saved me the trouble to write it all..

Excellent commentating, i love how the commentator levels his beautiful voice while still being 100% neutral. This type of work is exactly what we need to move forward as a community.

I feel the commentator was very lazy. He just said 'unit this, unit that'. He should have been saying which unit from what player to avoid any confusion for the viewers. The laughing was also very unprofessional.
|
Did I hear sarcasm when chill moderate temperature said "minerals being mined"? Ridiculous.
TL, replace this guy. Come on.

Plz rehost! All sources are down!

wont even listen to his, chill is a baller caster, of course were all gonna be a lil bit biased, i dont see how its unprofessional, but it sure as hell was awesome to see some koreans actually lose.

Minerals being mined Sparta remix anyone?

Chill: love your commentary. People only seem to comment when they're unhappy with things, so I wanted to throw out a "thank you" for being (easily) one of the best casters. Easily top two, in my opinion. Thanks.

Someone upload the MP3, none of the download links work :{

I think it's unfortunate that a guy expressing his honest opinion in a thread on TL gets belittled with a response of this nature. eoLithic clearly is a Chill fan, as he stated in his thread several times. I believe his intent was clear, he didn't like the whole korean/foreigner vibe from the casts, and was trying to voice his opinion in such a way that would be acceptable to everyone.
Obviously I don't know what PM's were exchanged, but Chill's public response, this blog, seems like a childish way to go about things. This feels like a very thinly veiled attempt to make fun of eoLithic, and brush his concerns aside.
Now if this was simply a personal matter, no one would give a fuck I'm sure. But this isn't. Chill is in the spotlight, and this is how he chooses to express himself in this spotlight. I can't think of any professional sports commentators/casters that would address legitimate concerns in this way.
Now this is all opinion, and feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but I think teamliquid and specifically TSL3 should handle legitimate concerns more professionally, and with a unified front, a PR department if you will. This could only benefit future TSL's and solidify SCII as a legitimate E-sport in the minds of regular people, who have only a passing interest in the game.
Any criticism welcome. Thanks for reading.
EDIT: And now the original thread is closed. I wonder why?
EDIT #2: Link to original thread.

If anyone can mirror this that would be appreciated, all the links in the OP are broken.

i completely agree with you, and the fact that this blog is now featured is kind of sad to me. eolithic didn't say anything too harsh in my opinion, and i think he has a valid concern - i get tired of the korea vs foreigner thing being rammed down my throat every single match too. i also think its possible that english is possibly not his primary language, but i think he still makes his point in a civil and polite way.
this blog to me just comes off as bratty and childish, and i think its too bad because this is the first negative thing i've had to say about anything having to do with tsl until now. i'm enjoying it a lot and i think it has been run exceedingly well, but i think people should have the power to criticize it without being made fun of and basically bullied.

God, this is fucking genius. Chill never dissapoints. This made my night

haha this was really funny.
You guys have been doing awesome casting keep it up.

I will add to the discussion that I value each and every post in this thread equally, and everyone is equally right. The value of this discussion could be described as "meaningful" or "meaningless", and either one would be viable. I'm completely neutral on the subject.

God, some of these responses are taking this way too seriously. It's like no one can have a sense of humour. I really hope all this crap doesn't discourage TL from running another one of these tournaments.
