but well done anyways Well sir, I don't want to start shit. But not coming prepared to a match is their own fault. If you don't come prepared to a $15,000 first prize tournament you really should get rolled, Korean or not, Lag or not, no exceptions. You can't take anything away from the foreigners performance just because they came prepared and the Koreans didn't. Preparation is part of the game. I don't think that they will make that mistake again. You're right, MVP regularly loses units to probes when he doesn't come prepared.
I would include preparing for lag conditions in "prepared". For example, MC said that he planned to deal with the lag by not using a micro intensive strategy.

Can't wait for Cruncher interview Awesome Naniwa, very nice game yesterday

TL DR - I FEEL GREAT LIKE TIGER.
Haha, love this. Qxc ftw.
|
I think that Naniwa should be able to roll GoOdy's mech with plenty of immortals and his habit of not getting supply blocked all the time and queuing up 5 workers... also he had a nice interview.
I love how qxc added a tl;dr to his first answer, hoping that Adelscott beats him tho.

dick or not, I still like Nani. Dude's a good player but just doesn't give a fuck. Wish we would have cleaned his shit up before he was kicked off MYM though, would love to see him on that roster. :-(

lol and for any1 who doesnt believe zvp is imbalanced in favor of toss watch idra's games it makes me just not want 2 watch starcraft anymore ;(

Yesterday I was playing ToD and went on a losing streak against him. After a number of games I asked him what I was doing wrong and he told me to "play better". LOL ToD never changes.

TSL was never a SC2 competition until now. Koreans never competed before either. The top players have always been pretty close. I would have done well in the bracket competition. The only major surprise was Goody beating Nestea as I've said before. Every other match went as I expected.
Yes, I know. But TSL 3 is the first major tournament that has top Korean players and top foreigners competing where the foreigners win more.
From here on, the foreigners will prove they can compete equally with the Koreans. It all starts at TSL 3.

Out of place, off topic, and just total fail. Idra built 7 drones AFTER he scouted the push in the last game, his own fault for losing. Plus, he was a jerk about losing game 1. I can get past spoiling the game for everyone, but bringing in balance discussion and derailing the thread is just sad.

Big mistake from Ret to say that he will try to take advantage of Nani's "poor multitasking." Why would he reveal something like that?
|
Naniwa came off well in his interview. I like this rivalry he has with ret. You can tell both players want to beat each other really bad, but they are respectful toward one another without pouring on fake compliments, or engaging in false modesty. It is a healthy rivalry when both players drive each other to improve and consider beating the other an accomplishment. The complete opposite of these one sided rivalries we've seen spring up lately.

BE THE TIGER qxc, drink that tiger blood up.

Nice interview with Nani, a little bm towards Goody but that spices things up for the next round ). Looking forward to it!
|
It's really refreshing to see that the Korean players arn't totally dominating the pool.
This is turning into the best SC2 comp ever.
