- You’ve established a new record for the most consecutive appearances in the MSL. ▲ I’ve appeared in the MSL so many times, so it’s regrettable that my recent results haven’t been too good. Thus, receiving such a title makes me a little ashamed. However, since I was able to advance this time, I’ll have a chance to participate in individual leagues again, so it’s good. [T/N: The Korean version actually says Bisu is tied with Savior for the most consecutive appearances, 13.]
- Did you expect to advance with 2 wins? ▲ I thought if I didn’t get 2 wins, it’d probably be 2 losses. Actually, if I had loss the first match, I might have been eliminated, so it’s a good thing I was able to win in the first match. In the first match, Sharp was a little nervous, and I was able to play according to my own pace.
- In the winners’ match, you played an intense match with Perfectman. ▲ Early on I was able to take down a small number of his dragoons, which helped me defend against his dragoon rush. But because my DTs weren’t able to do much, it was a hard battle. At one point I even thought I had lost, but once I was able to defend my opponent’s all-in, I felt like maybe I could win. Up until the last moment, I kept my competitive drive, which was the source of strength for my victory.
- Since WL playoffs are starting immediately, it must be hard to practice for individual leagues. ▲ I’m always able to practice to a certain extent. In preparing for WL, I’ve practiced many of the basics, so this time, I was determined to advance by relying on my basics. Before coming to the stadium, I prepared myself mentally. I felt as if I didn’t have any big weaknesses.
- 3 of the SKT members have already advanced to the MSL. ▲ It’s still a little regrettable. In our team, it seems only one player from each race was able to advance; many of our teammates have already been eliminated. Not being able to fight side by side with the rest of our team is a little regrettable, so hopefully next time they have a chance they’ll work harder.
- Many people are saying that if SKT wants to win in the playoffs, your condition will be key. ▲ I haven’t been playing that well recently, so I’m not really sure how it will turn out. Because it’s WL, if only one person performs excellently, the team can win. I thought that there would be a lot of time to practice, but surprisingly time has gone by really quickly. WL playoffs is around the corner now, so I really need to start practicing now.
- Now is a good time for you to win an individual league championship. ▲ Every time I say that I will play well, but when I actually play, I play poorly. In my mind I’ve already won countless championships, but during individual league games, I always play so poorly. I’ve been under a lot of pressure because of my recent losing streak. After losing so much, I started to have thoughts that I didn't want to play any more games, but I'll quickly shake off those kind of thoughts and will prepare calmly for my next games in the future. [TN: thanks Spica!]
- Anything else you want to say? ▲Once again I’ve entered the individual leagues. I hope I can give it my all. I definitely must win the championship.

- What are your thoughts on advancing into the MSL? ▲I’m happy! Sea and Tyson had already advanced, so I had to advance as well. Losing in the first match allowed me to play better in the remaining matches. Now there’s one more of us left to advance. It would be great if the four of us could attend the group selection ceremony together.
- Even though you received a lot of damage in the beginning of your game in the Losers' match, you managed to advance. ▲ I thought that I would definitely win the 1st game, so I only practiced ZvP. I've recently been put in the same group as Bisu for 3 consecutive MSTs, with Bisu going to the Winners' Match the last two times, but since I was knocked down to the Losers' match I wasn't able to play against him, so it turned out to be like that again (not being able to play Bisu) today. In the Losers' match, even though I received a lot of damage in the beginning and was at a disadvantage, because my opponent was a rookie, I thought that if I just gathered enough Ultralisks, then I would be able to get the chance to make a comeback. Patiently waiting and enduring the game well seemed to be the main reason why I was able to turn the tables. [T/N: Thanks Spica!]
- The final match was really intense. ▲In the beginning I didn’t micro my mutalisks properly, so I ended up losing them all. Good thing I had two spores in place though, so I continued to concentrate on fighting the battle in the air. In the latter half of the game I started to lose concentration so I started taking small losses everywhere. But good thing in the end I was able to win.
- When did you know you would win? ▲I knew when my mutalisks were able to contain him.
- Many fans are eagerly anticipating your performance at the group selection ceremony. ▲I don’t want to make too big of a scene this time. I’m getting older and I’m already a senior member of the team, so I should be a role model for the team. I’m not sure what exactly I’ll be doing yet, but I’ll be sure to exercise restraint. There are a lot of other fun and exciting players, so even without me, the ceremony will be a blast.
- Your best performance in the MSL so far has been the round of 32. ▲My luck hasn’t been too good. Last time I wouldn’t have thought that I’d have to play Flash in the Loser’s Match…such bad luck. It must have been because I was too over the top with my ceremony last time. This time I’ll be modest, and hopefully I’ll be able to get into a good group.
- Anything else? ▲This time was the first time my parents came to cheer for me, so I really didn’t want to lose. Their health hasn’t been great and they’ve gone to the hospital recently, so I hope they can get better.

What a discouraging interview.. ;-/ don't give up BISU! Protoss and Bw needs you!
Stay strong, win this MSL°!!
|
Go bisu!!!!! Good to see him enter the msl again
|
Now that bisu has got most consecutive appearances ever, can we put to rest that stigma that he slumps? Clearly his is the most consistent progamer in history
|
No Hyun interview? Well, atleast he made it to the MSL. I have huge expectations on his group selection ceremony.

Lolz, every time I try to translate an SKT player's interview nowadays, it's already been done. But I'm thankful for you doing the job because I'm quite tired today.
Excellent translation! You must have had a very good Korean to Chinese translator, because much of the flow is kept from the original Korean interview. The only thing that I'd suggest is instead of: "After losing, I even started think I was becoming tired of Starcraft. However, I need to quickly get rid of those thoughts and prepare well." Bisu didn't say that he was getting tired of Starcraft, he really said something more along the lines of, "After losing so much, I started to have thoughts that I didn't want to play any more games, but I'll quickly shake off those kind of thoughts and will prepare calmly for my next games in the future." Good job overall though!

nvm. fixed
Bisu has appeared in every MSL from GOMTV Season 1. Thats 13 times. sAviOr appeared in every MSL from UZOO to NATE. Thats also 13 times.
And of course NaDa with the record of most MSL appearances, a total of 18 times.

I like how they just forgot about sAviOr's record. Bisu has appeared in every MSL from GOMTV Season 1. Thats 13 times. sAviOr appeared in every MSL from UZOO to NATE. Thats also 13 times. The DES version actually pointed this out, which amused me not because they mentioned Savior, but because they referred to him as retired. Sure, if retired means "kicked out and banned from pro gaming for all of eternity".

I don't think he implied that...
lol @ Hyun "I managed to avoid Bisu"
thanks for the translations!

Not going to lie, I am cheering for Bisu 100% this time throughout the MSL. AND Hyun actually looks pretty good when he smiles. Instead I always see him opening his mouth a la MVP when he plays -_-

The 2nd question sounds BM from HyuN, guess the Chinese translator took some liberties. Here's what he really said:
+ Show Spoiler +- Even though you received a lot of damage in the beginning of your game in the Losers' match, you managed to advance. ▲ I thought that I would definitely win the 1st game, so I only practiced ZvP. You have to do a ceremony HyuN, because HiyA got eliminated. The ceremony won't be a blast without your awesome ceremonies. DDD:

^ Thanks again, what would we do without you :D

EDIT: Thanks hacklebeast. Now 1 more for Bisu to make a record, or just win this season for 4 MSL Titles .
