I have someone who got their stream approved but they stream in Japanese and they're wondering if they can get a Japan flag by their stream name. Do they have to edit their existing stream or something? Thanks.

Just some thought... Anyways, until that time i will just annoy the admins with my change requests every 1-2 weeks when i decide to switch to somewhere else.

I recently experiment a lot with different streaming providers and it's a little annoying that i have to submit a change request every time (which in turn is more work for the admins). Would be nicer if i could just say "I have a stream at ustream, justin.tv, own3d and livestream and currently my own3d stream is live". Just some thought... Isn't the form used to do it automated ? the first request might be manual but I assume the rest is just changing little things and doesn't need to be looked at ?. And really how hard is it to pick a streaming provider and stay with it. There's plenty reccomendations on which is the 'best'.

Every provider has different features, especially chat, recording, etc. and i'd like to try them out instead of just listening to opinions of others. Sometimes it's also some tiny thing i don't like, for example that when using ustream with xsplit it doesn't show the viewer count in the xsplit title bar, for own3d it does. I switched to ustream to try out if HD works better and because it has built-in chat there and now i think about either going back to own3d or trying around with justin.tv. Well, maybe it's just me, i experiment too much with everything and don't like to "just stick with it".

I understand completely why linking to outside sources and other advertisements results in a clearing of the description, however, for posting that I do coaching my description was cleared, yet other featured players, and even non some non featured have coaching listed in their description and it stays there? I'm just confused why I got a warning for something many other people do. What exactly am I allowed to put in the description as to avoid the box being cleared again? "See livestream page for coaching info" or something of the sort?

What if I didn't add any thread to my stream, is it possible for a mod to add this one to it: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=206569 or do I need to do another application?

Existing streamers can also use this form to apply for a site / channel change or to associate a thread with their stream. It's on the front page.

I've been messing around with ustream and justin.tv lately and I just switched back to livestream because it is the only one that has worked consistently. I'm just checking to make sure i'm not screwing up the system by doing multiple switches in a row. Thanks. EDIT: Nevermind. The change went through fine.
