Kav's opinions and advice: Round 1 Analysis, analysis, analysis. Insane is perhaps the most themed game of themed games, and there are going to be a lot of really weird roles and such. Because of this analysis won't be quite as effective as it usually is, BUT this in NOT an excuse to not do it. I repeat: ANALYSIS IS NECESSARY. NOT OPTIONAL. Inactives: We are hurt by townies (and blues) going inactive more than ever in this game, because everyone has a role. The stakes are higher, so PLEASE stay active. Not spammy, but active. Mayor: Bum, this is directed at you. Your campaign revolves around making sure that the mayor does not fall into the wrong hands. This is evidenced by the fact that you are selling your self as blue, and having a circle of confirmed persons. You are NOT selling your scum hunting abilities. You are taking a very passive approach by using the mayoral protection for a blue. The problem is, we need active scum hunters. The game is won with analysis and scum hunting, NOT blues. As per the advice of the vet's in the previous game, Mafia will likely be shooting for the active leaders of the town, not blues. Thus the protection would be better given to them. I'm not saying that I doubt your townie-ness, but I am saying that the mayor needs to be a leader, and a good analyst. If you can step up to the plate and deliver those things I'll throw my vote in behind you, but so far you've not shown great analysis. The fact that you didn't see this problem with your plan, and revealed yourself that way is evidence that you are not analyzing things very well. Because of this, I'm keeping my name in the pool. One more thing to be very careful with is the confirmed townies. Don't get me wrong, this is a good thing, but only if it's used the right way. There have been countless games where people have followed an innocent townie's advice only to find it wrong. It is important that we remember that your (and all the blue's) views are innocent, but not 100% correct. There is one good thing that has come out of your claim though: We now have a mouthpiece through which the police force can speak, and someone who wouldn't be a bad medic target...

Jackal is a little enigmatic to me. While I feel he's been pretty protown so far, Coag's insta confirm of him has me really suspicious. tbh I'm more suspicious of Coag because only the mafia know 100% who is town. GMarshal I'm almost sure is town. He's posting very similarly to the last couple of games he's been town in. I hate applying meta so early but just looking back at his games really kinda proves it for me. Annul is an absolute nono. He has yet to show a really good game of scum hunting and in the last several town games his play has been pretty terrible. He is probably the worst of the candidates. I <3 Kavdragon but I'm not feeling the same about this game as I did about the last game. I wanna see more posting from him talking about why I should vote him over the other candidates. Chaoser, Bum, and RoL are all pretty good choices. While I'm not liking RoL's "lemme kill shit" policy, I know that it is affective sometimes. Bum's plan is interesting and it just might work... although the risk is that he's fake claiming and the real blues don't wanna expose themselves. Chaoser is probably our strongest choice right now. These are just quick thoughts before I go to bed, I'll post something more substantial tomorrow.

There also the fact that the mayor can choose the lynch, and can rely on active scumhunters' advice. The leader in this case only has to make the final decision, and I'd rather that be a confirmed town who will listen to scumhunters than an unknown or even probable town. Of course, this relies on no counterclaims in the next, oh, 12 hours or so i guess.

Although to be honest I'm not likely to belive it if its too late after day 1 starts.

Oh yeah, I know its theoretically a long time, but if no counter claims happen soon I wouldn't really trust them. Give scum enough time and they'll figure out a good plan

One reason: 1) I have some sort of vision while others don't really: Bum's plan also intrigues me and if a blue claims and runs I will immediately step down from running. This will be, of course, after I consider it some more to see if there are any glaring flaws in it. I'm willing to compromise in terms of the voting/not voting for day 1 lynch. I'll go along with the town but also make my own analysis as well. If I believe town to be voting to lynch someone who is 80% not mafia in my eyes I will tell town and take a stand if I have to. Aside from that, I will be a mere civil servant, at the mercy of the people. I don't have flashy pictures or heart swelling music, but I do believe beer should be cold, boots should be dusty. I think 9/11 was bad and freedom? Well, I think that's just a little bit better. As for his lynch he said On March 24 2011 13:01 chaoser wrote: Yeah I realized compromising isn't a good idea at all which is why I wrote: I will follow town's vote. I feel comfortable with Chaoser as mayor. The more I thought about it the more I realized that he's the best candidate. Bum's plan is too flimsy, I'm worried about mafia infiltration. RoL hasn't really done anything other than rage for no reason. GMarshal doesn't have a good track record with scum hunting and neither does Annul. Jackal worries me, tnkted is to new, and I just haven't seen Kav post enough to get a solid feeling. Even if Chaoser loses the election I still think it's a good idea to look into the people in the minigame: 1. Coagulation 2. darmousseh 3. Jackal58 4. annul 5. Tackster 6. Lemonwalrus Coag Slightly suspicious because of his insta confirm on Jackal Darm Banned lol Jackal Slightly suspicous because of Coag annul Pressuring Bum, pretty good points, not playing too shabily Tackster Hasn't posted? Lemonwalrus Spamming oneliners, needs to contribute more With two of the six yet to post it would be irresponsible to start calling people out so I'm gonna watch these six regardless of the election and try and catch the mafia or third party when they slip.
