But Koreans tend to have really boring answers in general, even though the questions can lead to answers like qxc's ones, much respect to him for his effort.

Great qxc interview, I love how much thought and detail he puts into his answers instead of just giving standard one-line answers like a lot of people.
qxc HWAITING!

qxc interviews like such a boss. He has drawn me beyond the lurker threshold.
Also MVP: I think Korean players are rigid in their style, while foreigners are freer with their play. ... really interesting. If only his writing was as loquacious as qxc. Gogo qxc!

Marry me! :p

Latency may end up being the trump card for some foreigners if it ends up working in their favor. Honestly I don't really expect many -- if any foreigners to make it very far. An all Korean server round of 8 would not be surprising. I feel like I hear about foreigners saying how they can compete with the Koreans a lot of the time. What I don't hear is why foreigners think they can compete. There are very few players who take the game as seriously as the Koreans do and put in the same amount of time and practice. If I worked twice as hard as everyone else I would expect to be better than they are. Anyway - we'll see soon enough.
Loved this answer from qxc. A few other pros have kind of beat around the bush about why koreans are better, but he is the first person that i've seen actually come out and say that hardly anyone/no one practices as much, as hard, and as well as koreans. Also Latency IS such a big deal for these games.

Loved MvP's response about his personality lol.

I really hope QXC will show some new builds in TvP again. I think he can go far if he shapes up just a bit.
|
I like the thought process of qxc, particularly over his disappointing IEM. For Genius though, I would not really say his play is "safe, solid, consistant"...

Gogogo!! Adelscott. Will be very hard, but who knows...

Qxc answering like a boss, love his Interviews and I hope he will do well. He deserves a nice win!

Thanks for the interviews.

"Write a few sentences about your personality."
Qxc: "words words words".
I get the feeling he'd do the same thing if you met him in person, without stopping for air
I do hope he's well-practiced. I like his playstyle.

Awww genius:
"If you like standard, safe Protoss play, you should watch my games. I admit it's not that entertaining T_T."
Well now I have to cheer for him!

I think Adelscott may have a chance due to MVP's confidence being hurt, plus the fact that MVP's TvP has been bad recently.
Also qxc's interview was absolutely amazing, it's really nice that he took his time to write long, detailed, honest and interesting answers to all questions.
Thank you Teamliquid for doing these interviews, they manage to build the hype a lot.
